1983年5月29日、伝説のUSフェスティバル２日目の「Heavy Metal Day」でのモトリーのステージを過去最良の画質と音声で約43分完全収録。海外マニアがベストなヴァージョンから音を修復し、さらにラジオ音源までも副音声で収録したという決定盤（ラジオではBastard、Merry-Go-Round、Piece Of Your Actionは放送されなかったのでこの３曲は副音声未収）。画質は全編公式リリースも可能な程に良好なのですが、このライヴ音声は部分的に不安定な要素を含んでいたため、それが鑑賞のネックになっていました（元々ヴィンスのボーカルの音声に問題が多い）。それらを出来る限り補整し、聴きやすく楽しめるようにしたのが本盤です。卓直結で録音したような、ギターの音がやや遠目でペラペラ気味のミックスは元からなのでいかんともしたがいのですが、とにかく、急上昇していくバンドの放つ尋常ではない熱気・オーラといったものは、この生々しい映像から存分に伝わってきます。モトリーはこの日、クワイエット・ライオットに続く２番手でステージに上がり、30万人の大観衆の前の圧巻のライヴを繰り広げました（この日のトリはヴァン・ヘイレン。他にもオジー、ジューダス、スコーピオンズらが出演）。セカンドアルバム「Shout At The Devil」公式リリース前のライヴですので、殆どの曲は観客には馴染みがないはずなのですが、レザージャケットに身を包んだモトリーが見る者を圧倒し、魅了する様子を実にリアルな映像で捉えています。初期のステージをこれほど長く、良質なプロショット映像で捉えたものは、このUSフェス以外はありませんので、ファンは絶対必見です。モトリーの、というだけでなく、この時期から、一つの社会現象と化していく、アメリカにおけるへヴィメタルのムーブメントとしてのヒートアップぶりを、これ以上ない程にリアルかつ魅力的に捉えた全てのファン必見映像のアップグレード版。本来ならプレスDVDでのリリースがふさわしい決定盤です。
