まず音質ですが、既発盤より確実に3ランクは上の音質、これはイコライジングや何らかの処理により得られる類のものではなく、確実にテープの鮮度に依る高音質といえます。もちろん同ソースですので、あくまでこの高音質は相対評価の上でのことですが、それでもここまでの高音質は今までこの日のタイトルを複数所有している人にもきっと驚きをもって迎えられるのではないでしょうか。音質的には完全収録のものよりも、他の出演アーティストらと共にこのフェスティバルを収録したオムニバスＬＰの「ハートブレーカー」「ザッツ・ザ・ウェイ」が、わずか2曲ながら、より良好ということで注目され、それ故アナログ落としのCDもリリースされていましたが、本作に収録の音は、そのLPよりも確実に上であると、さらにそれで完全収録であると、そうご理解いただけたらある程度ご想像つくのではと思います。
