Ketteiban sound of that due to the “RAM IT DOWN” “MERCENARIES OF METAL TOUR 1988” is appeared in press 4CD! I heard that, “RAM IT DOWN” や “MERCENARIES OF METAL TOUR”, “Oh!” And those who seemed, I’ll Come in through the JUDAS PRIEST? So, “MERCENARIES OF METAL TOUR 1988”, even JUDAS PRIEST history, while fulfilling the live is waged, it is not blessed with quite sound tour. This work, I 4 of Disc you press the Crazy S. collection from native England tour among them.
JUDAS PRIEST that aimed at big popularity in the problem work “TURBO”. And I was strong showing in sales basis, but it produced a “RAM IT DOWN”, which aims to return to even greater was whether hard royal road where you think. The tour also has this change in consciousness appears in vivid, music without absolutely from the “TURBO” (in the US leg was played only “Turbo Lover”). Behalf 70s songs such as “Sinner,” “The Ripper”, “Beyond The Realms Of Death” is resurrected. There I’m sandwiched hard new song “Come And Get It”, “I’m A Rocker”, “Ram It Down” and “Heavy Metal”. Exactly with the contents such as Best set + new song from “DEFENDERS OF THE FAITH”, the atmosphere and the “FUEL FOR LIFE TOUR 1986”, and I have changed the Gara~tsu.
Moreover, the opening is, the golden “Hellion / Electric Eye”! 1998 and when it reached the Ripper, as can be seen from the fact that it served as a pole position in the Reunion of 2004, This is what’s the declaration of “JUDAS PRIEST Resurrection!”. Generally, it is the image that was revived in the “PAINKILLER”, already fully open person our enthusiasm. Although hesitation was felt in the “RAM IT DOWN” In and artificial drum sound “Johnny B. Goode”, not at all even those elements on the stage. Run-up to the resurrection I has begun. The fighting spirit is, comes through Bing also from the performance. Which song but spirit is enough, “Ram It Down” iconic of the say what new song. In ultra-fast tempo more than a studio in far, almost thrash metal! Moreover, high shout while high tension even said that strong !! “Pre-Painkiller” than slash, deployment to push collapsed snow from vocal feel in the middle of elation to melodious guitar solo is to cut through, the best different to as “Painkiller” I am finished of the metal-number! Its “Ram It Down” continues to receive and the “Heavy Metal” also, eccentric first time in more than much the album. Heavy melody Kakimushiru the chest, “I’m A Rocker” is also great …… Why, though why such just like the best song, I do not have me Starring only on this tour!?!?
Although it is burning “MERCENARIES OF METAL TOUR 1988” in spirit of such revival, not blessed in the sound source unfortunately, “to know who each know” state. “NEW HAVEN 1988” of FM broadcasting has reigned as a standard, but it also is not a full recording. Best one that dispel the anger is, I of this work of Crazy S. collection. The only master craftsman of metal recording was Roku~tsu on home ground, the sound is the best audience recording. Of disk 1 and 2, “June 16 Leicester performance” is full of tremendous direct feeling, of disk 3, 4, “June 22 Sheffield performance” is, reverberation that was dressed slightly exquisite! Both guitar sound to heavy, heroic voices of Rob, such as cut through even ultra-clear. Especially Dave Holland that was said to be “Do not the drum machine?” Is the album, here showing off the original groove feeling plenty of drumming. Its virtuosity also is coming firmly conveyed to every detail.

Even in JUDAS PRIEST history, has become the beaten path “MERCENARIES OF METAL TOUR 1988”. To listen to the whole picture, there is no more of the album. Real thrill plenty of listening as 80s heavy metal of end location, glistening with the dazzling 4 Disc as a prologue of “PAINKILLER”. By all means, the soil metal live weekend you missed now, please heartily drunk!

「RAM IT DOWN」にともなう”MERCENARIES OF METAL TOUR 1988”の決定盤音源がプレス4CDで登場です! 「RAM IT DOWN」や”MERCENARIES OF METAL TOUR”と聞いて、「おぉ!」
代わって「Sinner」「The Ripper」「Beyond The Realms Of Death」といった70年代曲が復活。そこにハードな新曲「Come And Get It」「I’m A Rocker」「Ram It Down」「Heavy Metal」を挟み込んでいる。
