There is no sound board / pro shot left “Best selection for the 21st century live”. A vertex live set that will serve as an “official substitute” for such rare tours appears.
It was in 2010 that the unknown tours that people knew were done. It was the first half of the “FINAL FRONTIER WORLD TOUR”. This work is a 3 piece set of discs with the best album of “July 12, 2010 New York Performance” on Disc 3, of which the best live album of “June 16th 2010 Albuquerque Show” is on disc 1-2.
First of all, let ‘s start with why this work is the secret. Speaking of “THE FINAL FRONTIER WORLD TOUR”, it is still left behind in the official work “EN VIVO!”, It is nothing to do with a secret … … but it is not so. As a matter of fact, the world tour after ‘A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH’ has been open to the first part / the second part for about half a year and the schedule is divided. Not only is the schedule separate but also the set list is different. When collecting each tour of MAIDEN, it is basically based on holding both the first half and the second half. Let’s organize the vertex work since the tour was divided into two.

【The show of the most rare “Recent Best Selection” 」
…… and it looks like this. Although professional records such as pro shots and sound boards are left both before and after the tour, the only exception is the first half of “THE FINAL FRONTIER TOUR”. That is, it is a show in ‘2010’.
Moreover, it is not only not only the professional record, but also the unique set list rarely seen in MAIDEN history. Since there was a reprint tour of the 80’s before and after, Classics was suppressed as much as possible, and plenty playing the famous group of songs of the six person formation era. That lineup is also quite different from “EN VIVO!” The image is different from the opening “The Wicker Man” and thereafter, “Ghost Of The Navigator” “The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg” “These Colors Do not Run” “Wildest Dreams” “No More Lies” “Brave New World” ……, songs that can not be seen with ‘EN VIVO!’ From “Brave New World” to the second half of the show (except for one song “Wrathchild”) All of them are consolidated by the number of six eras, and the best songs of the 21st century are brought to the cascading circle. Currently, the “LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR” being performed is the concept of “80s hit + α”, but it is a flow like a whole round and reverse.

【Disk 1-2: Superb recording of Albuquerque performances】
This work is a vertex record of a unique show which is not unique. Eight years have passed since the tour, and the evaluation of “This is the best tour!” Is also a set of live albums and videos settled. First of all, it is a superb audience recording of Albuquerque performances. This is really wonderful, as the world’s maniacs are pushing the best of “2010 best”. However, the original sound also had drawbacks. There was a machine trouble at the end of “Wildest Dreams”, a hiss noise occurred. However, despite these drawbacks, Manians are highly praised for “Tour · Best”. So much basic quality is missing, the remaining 101 minutes is perfectly soundboard grade. It is ultra superb recording without side by side in 2010. Of course, in this work, the fault part of about 2 minutes is corrected as much as possible with meticulous remastering. I realized the world’s best “2010 Live Album”.

And the following disc 3 is the vertex of the image. This is truly, really amazing! It is a strange image that is shooting the on-site screen and only looking at multi-camera / pro shot. Speaking of screen shots, a square screen frame is usually visible in the screen, but this work is different. Screen images are occupied to every corner of the screen, and it is more stable and more stable. Not only the space image at the time of the opening but also the multicamera video itself photographed by the professional staff on site are seen with the highest quality. Each member’s daughter, facial expression, hand, and Eddie. Everything is switched one by one with multiple cameras, and each angle is a perfect pro viewpoint.
To be honest, it’s too perfectly screen-only and stability is going well, so I do not even know the shooting position. The audience sense is only sound, but this sound is also wonderful. As expected it is not a step to the Albuquerque performance (Disc 1 – 2) at the top of the tour, but its clear sound can be a tour best if it is normal. Whether it’s a sound or a spectacle, it is the audience image that is closest to the pro shot in the world.

Although it is a rare recent year’s Greatest Hits Show, there is no official professional record “2010”. It is a vertex set that you can experience the valuable show with a superb sound live album and a screen shot that only looks like a pro shot. As a substitute for “sound board” · “instead of pro shot”, there are no more 3 sets. “LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR” Because it is now in full bloom, please enjoy plenty of true and reverse concept shows.

知る人ぞ知る秘境のツアーが行われたのは2010年のこと。“THE FINAL FRONTIER WORLD TOUR”の前半戦でした。本作はそのうち「2010年６月16日アルバカーキ公演」の極上ライヴアルバムをディスク１-２に、「2010年７月12日ニューヨーク公演」の極上映像をディスク３に配した３枚組です。
まず何より、なぜ本作が秘境なのかから始めましょう。“THE FINAL FRONTIER WORLD TOUR”と言えば、公式作品『EN VIVO!』でも残されており、秘境でも何でもない……と思われがちですが、そうではないのです。実のところ、『A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH』以降のワールドツアーは、半年ほど間を開けて第一部／第二部に日程が分けられている。これは単にスケジュールが離れているだけでなく、セットリストも異なる。MAIDENの各ツアーをコレクトする際には、前半と後半を両方押さえるのが基本となっているのです。ここで、ツアーが２分割されるようになってからの頂点作を整理してみましょう。

【激レアな“近年ベスト選曲”のショウ】
……と、このようになっています。各ツアーの前後半ともプロショットやサウンドボードといったプロ記録が残されていますが、唯一その例外となっているのが“THE FINAL FRONTIER TOUR”の前半。つまり、「2010年」のショウなのです。
しかも、単にプロ記録がないだけではなく、MAIDEN史でも希に見る個性的なセットリスト。前後に80年代の復刻ツアーがあったためにクラシックスが極力抑えられ、６人編成時代の名曲群をたっぷりと演奏する。そのラインナップも『EN VIVO!』とはまったく違う。オープニングの「The Wicker Man」からまるでイメージが違い、その後も「Ghost Of The Navigator」「The Reincarnation Of Benjamin Breeg」「These Colours Don’t Run」「Wildest Dreams」「No More Lies」「Brave New World」……と、『EN VIVO!』では観られない曲が山盛り。開演から後半に差し掛かる「Brave New World」まで（１曲「Wrathchild」以外）すべて６人時代のナンバーで固められ、21世紀のベスト選曲が一気呵成に押し寄せる。現在、遂行中の“LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR”は「80年代ヒット＋α」がコンセプトですが、それを丸っきり逆にしたような流れなのです。
そして、「Fear Of The Dark」を契機にムードは一変。今度はデビュー作『IRON MAIDEN』と『THE NUMBER OF THE BEAST』の極めつけナンバーだけを濃縮披露。濃厚な80年代カラーが吹き出すのです。

【ディスク１-２：アルバカーキ公演の極上録音】
本作は、そんな他にはない個性的なショウの頂点記録。ツアーから８年が経ち、「これぞツアー・ベスト！」の評価も固まったライヴアルバムと映像のセットなのです。まず登場するのはアルバカーキ公演の極上オーディエンス録音。世界のマニアから「2010年のベスト」と太鼓判を押されており、これが本当に素晴らしい。演奏の芯は極太でありながら艶やかで綺麗にセパレート。距離感もまるでなく、それこそ「まるでサウンドボード」と呼ぶに相応しい名録音です。
しかし、原音には欠点もありました。「Wildest Dreams」終盤に機材トラブルがあり、ヒスノイズが発生。録音者も気付いたのか次曲「No More Lies」の序盤でセッティングを直して回復するものの、約２分ほど画竜点睛を欠いていた。しかし、そうした欠点があるにも関わらず、マニア達から「ツアー・ベスト」の大絶賛。それほどまでに基本のクオリティがズバ抜けており、残り101分は完全無欠のサウンドボード級。2010年に並ぶ物のない超・極上録音なのです。もちろん、本作では約２分の欠点パートも細心リマスタリングで可能な限り補正。世界最高峰の“2010年ライヴアルバム”を実現しました。

【ディスク３：MSG公演の衝撃スクリーン・ショット】
そして、続くディスク３は映像の頂点。これが本当に、本当に凄い！　現場スクリーンを撮影しており、マルチカメラ・プロショットにしか見えない異様な映像なのです。通常、スクリーン・ショットと言えば画面の中に四角いスクリーン枠が見えるものですが、本作は違う。画面の隅々までスクリーン内の映像が占領しており、しかもビシッと安定。開演時の宇宙映像はもちろんのこと、現場のプロ・スタッフが撮影しているマルチカメラ映像そのものが極上クオリティで見られる。各メンバーのドアップ・表情・手元、そしてエディ。そのすべてがマルチカメラで次々と切り替わり、アングルの１つひとつも完全プロ視点です。
正直なところ、あまりに完璧にスクリーン・オンリーで安定感もズバ抜けているため、撮影ポジションも分からない。オーディエンス感覚なのは音声だけなのですが、このサウンドも素晴らしい。さすがにツアー頂点のアルバカーキ公演（ディスク１-２）には一歩及びませんが、そのクリアなサウンドは普通ならツアーベストとなってもおかしくない。サウンドにしろ、光景にしろ、世界で最もプロショットに近いオーディエンス映像です。

レアな近年グレイテストヒッツ・ショウでありながら、正式なプロ記録がない“2010年”。その貴重なショウを極上サウンドのライヴアルバムとプロショットにしか見えないスクリーン・ショットで体験できる頂点セットです。“サウンドボード代わり”・“プロショット代わり”として、これ以上ない３枚組。“LEGACY OF THE BEAST TOUR”真っ盛りな今だからこそ、真逆なコンセプトのショウもたっぷりとお楽しみください。
