Four pieces of shock appears in Gary Moore collector! The performance on January 24 is like a radio air check recording, the limiter seems to be working, parts such as guitar solo are clear like a sound board. However, as the whole gathers densely, the bass range is somewhat distorted, there are parts where the volume itself is drawn, and the image of the sound is totally different depending on the part. Although there is a weak point that the sound image is not constant like this, the sound quality is very clear as a whole, especially Gary’s solo part is very impressive and has a great listening comprehension. As mentioned above, the master tape is used, the sound freshness is outstanding, it is a very grade high recording take that can endure many times viewing. Hurrican There is a tape change at the beginning, but there are few cut parts, and the songs are almost completely recorded. Gary ‘s powerful solo that you can hear with Cold Hearted Intro in the first half, White Knuckles in the middle stage etc is a listening place. In speed tune it is slightly musical tone small and it seems to be noisy, but Parisienne Walkways and Sunset are clearly recorded until it is impressive, making it a must-have audience take.
On the last day February 1, the sound source seems to be working like the disks 1 & 2, so the image of the sound is quite different in the part where the sound is not dense with the solo part. The guitar intro which extends gradually from Jam-style play of Cold Hearted of this day to 4 minutes 30 seconds which is intensifying is a must-have part. I Can not Wait The intro in Until Tomorrow and Gary’s solo in the middle part are beautifully listening. White Knuckles – Kimigayo ‘s 8 – minute guitar solo following Hurricane is also wonderful, and the 3 – minute solo motif of “Kimigayo” in the second half is a masterpiece. Do not Take Me For A Loser 2:49 There is a fine missing. At the end of this song, Gary is jokingly saying “It is a British version of ET (movie)” and I have received it to the audience, but I do not know what it is. There is also a cut at the beginning of the last Sunset. In the vocal part, there are parts where the sound image becomes noisy, there are elements that are unstable, but it is a senior level sound source that you can enjoy without trouble if you are a maniar possessed by many Gary sources. Sound quality is recommended as a clear overall.
In addition to Iain Pace & Neil Murray’s strongest rhythm section, a key document of the strongest technical hard rock interwoven by master Don Eiley and John Sloeman who only participates in this period. It is a 4 piece set which recorded 2 kinds of complete first appearance of legendary 1983 Japan tour. This mania can not be overlooked!

In 1983, Gary Moore started his first visit to Japan with Ian Pace, Neil Murray, Don Eiley etc. back, on January 24th and February 1st – the stage in Tokyo on the last day Was converted into CD-R directly from the original master cassette. ゲイリー･ムーア･コレクターに衝撃の4枚組が登場！Corridors of Power」に伴う1983年初来日ツアーより、2日目の1月24日新宿厚生年金会館公演と、最終日2月1日の渋谷公会堂公演を、トレーダー間でも一切出回っていないマスター･カセットより２公演とも高音質オーディエンス録音で完全収録。この２公演は、これまで一切ライブCD化されていなかったので、コアなファンにとってはとても嬉しいタイトルの出現と言えるでしょう。
1月24日公演はラジオのエアチェック録音のようなサウンドで、リミッターが効いているらしく、ギターソロのみのパートなどはサウンドボードのようにクリアーです。しかし、全体が密集すると、低音域がやや歪んだり、ボリュームそのものがひっこむ部分もあったり、パートによって音のイメージがまるで違ったりします。このように音像が一定しないという弱点はあるものの、音質は全体的に非常にクリアーで、特にゲイリーのソロパートなどは迫力満点で非常に聴き応えがあります。前述のとおり、マスターテープを使用しており、音の鮮度は抜群で、何回もの鑑賞に耐え得る非常にグレードの高い録音テイクです。Hurrican冒頭でテープチェンジがありますが、カットパートは少なく、楽曲は殆ど完全収録されています。前半のCold Heartedイントロ、中盤のWhite Knucklesなどで聴けるゲイリーの迫力あるソロは聴き所です。スピードチューンではやや楽音が小ぶりでノイジーな感じなりますが、Parisienne WalkwaysやSunsetは感動的なまでにクリアーに録音されており、ファン必聴のテイクになっています。
最終日2月1日音源は、ディスク１＆２同様に、リミッターが効いているらしく、ソロ･パートと音が密集していないパートでは音のイメージがかなり違います。この日のCold Heartedのジャム風のプレイから徐々に激しくなる4分30秒に及ぶギターイントロは必聴パートです。I Can’t Wait Until Tomorrow でのイントロと中間部でのゲイリーのソロは美しく聴き所になっています。Hurricaneに続くWhite Knuckles～Kimigayoの８分間のギターソロも素晴らしく、後半「君が代」をモチーフにした3分間のソロは圧巻です。Don’t Take Me For A Loserの2:49で微細な欠落あります。この曲の終わりにゲイリーが冗談で「ET(映画）のブリティッシュ･ヴァージョンだ」と言って観客に受けていますが、何のことか分かりません。ラストのSunset冒頭にもカットあります。ボーカルパートでは若干、音像がノイジーになる箇所もあり、不安定な要素もありますが、多くのゲイリー音源に所有しているマニアなら問題なく楽しめる上級レベルの音源です。音質は全体的にクリアーでお薦めです。
イアン・ペイス＆ニール・マレーの最強リズムセクションに加え名手ドン・エイリー、そしてこの時期のみ参加のジョン・スローマンらが織り成す、最強のテクニカル･ハード･ロックの新たなる重要ドキュメント。伝説の1983年日本ツアーの、完全初登場音源２種を収録した4枚組。これはマニアは見逃せません！

1983年、ゲイリー・ムーアがイアン・ペイス、ニール・マレイ、ドン・エイリー等をバックに迎えて実現した初来日公演から、1月24日と、2月1日-最終日の東京でのステージがオリジナル・マスター・カセットからダイレクトにCD-R化された。録音機材に起因すると思われる若干不安定さはあるものの良好な音質のオーディエンス録音で収録されている。まず、1月24日のステージはオープニングの「End Of The World」から、それまで幻のギタリストの一人だったゲイリーが期待以上に豪快にギターを弾きまくる姿を目の前にして観客が盛り上がらないわけもなく、1曲ごとに大きな歓声が沸き起こっている。グレッグ・レイクのバックだけにとどまらず、ゲイリー自身もシングルをリリースした「Nuclear Attack」のイントロで、あのリフが刻まれた瞬間、ゾクゾクしたのを今でも鮮明に思い出すし、曲の完成度の高さを再確認させられる。後半では、仁王立ち状態のゲイリーが「White Knuckles」でソロを弾きまくり、フレーズごとに大きな歓声があがると、ゲイリーが超高速で正確無比なフレーズを繰り出して、より観客を煽るし、名曲「Parisienne Walkways」では例のフィード・バックを完璧にキメてくれる。ラストで観客をクール・ダウンさせるかのようにスロー・チューンの「Sunset」で締め括るのも、らしいと言える。
2月1日の最終公演も基本的なセット・リストは、1月24日とほぼ同様であるが、最終日ということもあり、ゲイリーの気合も十分で、この日も弾きまくるのは勿論のこと、「White Knuckles」では後半、ゲイリー流にアレンジされた「君が代」も飛び出して観客を喜ばせる。「Gonna’ Break My Heart Again」でゲイリーと観客の熱い掛け合いが続くし、ラストの「Sunset」の序盤がカットされているのは残念だが、それでも感動的なエンディングとなっている。
この日本公演からはオフィシャル・ライヴ・アルバムもリリースされているが不完全収録の為、ストレスを感じていたファンには最高のアイテム。
