The sound quality is high quality sound which sees each part very clearly while recording the audience, and it can listen without a problem. Pound For A Brown is a rare selection, highlight of this title. When I say Pound For A Brown with the addition of Bozzio, I think that fans will imagine that version at “IN NEW YORK”, but Douyiru is arranged to think that it was conscious of it. The ad lib solos of each part are wonderful. Bozio’s margin and bursting drumming pulls each part, putting together a good performance. The performance from Black Page # 2 to the finale with Vai added is listening and playing by Ali.

故フランク･ザッパの息子、ドゥージル・ザッパが率いる究極のトリビュート･ライブ･ツアー「Zappa Plays Zappa – Tour De Frank」。ヨーロッパ、イギリス、アメリカと大規模なツアーが組まれており、テクニカルなプレイヤー一群の織り成すパフォーマンスは、各地でセンセーショナルな話題を呼んでいます。本作は2006年6月16日、カナダはトロント公演を高音質オーディエンス録音で完全収録。この日はショウ中盤にスティーブ･ヴァイにさきがけテリー・ボジオがゲストで登場。究極の音質で壮絶なパフォーマンスを堪能することができます。ショウ後半のヴァイとドゥージルのギター･バトルは聴き所です。先にTRIALからリリースされたロンドン公演をも上回るかと思われるストレートでゴージャスなサウンドで録音されており、理想的な音像をもって、圧巻のショウを堪能することができます。

北米ツアーも中盤に入り、テリー・ボジオをゲストに迎えてのショウも回数をこなしてきた、カナダはトロントでの公演。音質はオーディエンス録音ながら、各パートを非常にクリアーに捉えた高音質なもので、問題なく聴くことができる。Pound For A Brown は珍しい選曲で、このタイトルのハイライト。ボジオを加えてのPound For A Brown というと、ファンは「IN NEW YORK」でのあのヴァージョンを想像すると思うのだが、ドゥイージルもそれを意識したと思わせるアレンジになっている。各パートのアドリブソロは素晴らしい。ボジオの余裕かつ炸裂したドラミングが各パートを引っ張り、まとめあげている好演。Black Page #2 からヴァイを加えてのフィナーレまでの演奏は聴き応えアリの演奏だ。
