ERIC CLAPTON – ROYAL ALBERT HALL 1993 : THE FINAL NIGHT(2CD)

Eric Clapton’s original master recording is released as limited CD press after a long time. This DAT tape is from a famous Eric mania who lives in UK, the complete audience live is final concert at Royal Albert Hall on March 3, 1993 which he plays only the blues in. This DAT tape is same as the vintage release of Slowhand Blues 2CD. But after I contact to the taper, he said Slow Hand Blues master is from cassette that he made with the DAT master. So our release is directly copy from the original DAT master.

The original master is very good recording, but bit not sharp sound, so we remastered as much clear as we do. Especially powerful vocal remaster makes all sound to be sharp. And we remove as much as we can noize on the peak volume. So surely it reborn best quality recording. But we don’t remove the noize on 32-20 2:41, because it is from PA.

Royal Albert Hall concerts are very important with that as a start of recording FROM THE CRADLE Album. He wanted to decide the songs for the album during the concerts. So those songs are his favorites and he had checked the band sound during their playment. So at Royal Albert Hall he had played rare blues songs that he did not play on Nothin’ But The Blues Tour. They are Alabama Women、Chicago Breakdown、Juke、Comin’ Home、Meet Me In The Bottom、It’s My Life Baby.

The band is also good, Richie Hayward from Little Feat’s drummer, and Donal Duck Dunn from Memphis for the first time in 8 years since 1986, Jerry Portnoy who is white deep harp player. The rhythm section is that all American musician play there, that Eric want to play best blues. Original master recording, Limited CD press.

Alabama Women、Chicago Breakdown、Juke、Comin’ Home、Meet Me In The Bottom、It’s My Life Babyあたりのナンバーはここでしか聴けないブルースカバーです。
