It is rumored that Eric Clapton finally put an end to live career this LA 4 continuous performance of September. A good stereo audience source of all the performances has been uploaded on the net. It is a high-quality master who used the high performance Mike & Sony M – 10 recorder called Schoeps MK 4 and recorded in nearly the same good position as 4 performances. This time, our shop will be released as “LA FORUM 2017 Volume 1 / Volume 2” on 4 press CDs each. You can see that it was a special concert performed in New York, London, Los Angeles, only three locations in the world. That’s why Clapton fans all over the world were going to rush to somewhere in the three cities, notwithstanding the high ticket fee. From each performance, many uploaded files and other good sound sources were brought in, and our shop also included the original master, we released it with quality that you can satisfy with chasing in real time. And here the sound source of the last 4 performances at LA was uploaded on the net. However, due to the incompatibility of the uploaded person and the immatureness of the sound processing, the sound quality was never clear even though everyone was clear. The bass range is too tight to give an impression that the sound image is blocked, giving a sharp impression, in addition to reducing the sound pressure after the performance and repeating the work back to the next song, There was a gap. This work was delayed when the person who uploaded was late, there were songs that failed to record, troubles such as a drunk girlfriend getting drunk and singing singing together with a few songs, or the battery was torn by encore , So it was the result of having tapered fellows offer the same quality high quality source, editing and connecting. All of this work was miscellaneous, and some parts were distorted during the process of reducing the sound pressure. This disadvantage was common to all sound sources of 4 performances, but our shop introduced mastering technology of professional engineer who gets a reputation here. We relaxed the bass range, made the sound balance the best, and completely corrected the sound pressure deviation. As for the distortion it was of a level that can not be completely removed, so we relaxed as much as possible. By doing this, you can assert that it became much easier to hear from the net as it is. It is the main board that packed the first half 2 performances of the LA 4 show heard with this upgrade master (this is the second two performances released simultaneously as “Volume 2”). We have already released the second day performance as the CDR title “L. A. FORUM 2017 2nd Night”, and I think that the fans are familiar with the performance of the rocks there, but it is just a clapton. The first day delivered the first day ‘s listening experience with a performance. On the first day, we decided a sharp solo with somebody Knocking of the opening suddenly. And the solo at I Shot The Sheriff of this day is wonderful! Although super fast play is not bursted out, phrasing that is very emotional and full of singing is a culmination of careers over 54 years. There will not be any guitarists who can play a long solo filled with emotional ups and downs. In his mind, I can not but think that there was a hidden desire to bet on this LA performance. On the second day performance, solos at Somebody Knocking of the opening are out. The end of solo of I Shot The Sheriff of this day creates a phrase with bold chord playing. Better than that, it is a solo in the previous song Hoochie Coochie Man. The solo of Crispy listened to by this song, this is the play you would like to listen to. In this performance, including the newly set White Room, suitable for performances entitled “A Celebration Of 50 Years Of Music”, solo works of the 1970s from the cream era number, “Unplugged” of the 1990s The number, and the number from the recent work and the Old Blues cover that never gets rid of was absolutely covered, this was the content which is said to be the history of Clapton. ニューヨーク、ロンドン、ロサンゼルス、世界3ヶ所だけで実施した特別なコンサートだったことがお判りいただけるでしょう。それだけに世界中のクラプトンファンが高いチケット代にもかかわらず、ここぞとばかりに資金を注ぎ込み、3都市のどこかに駆けつけるという状況でした。各公演からは、ネット上のアップロードファイルをはじめ、数々の優良な音源がもたらされ、当店もオリジナルマスターを含み、リアルタイムで追いかけご満足いただけるクオリティでリリースしてきました。そしてここにLAでの最終4公演の音源がネット上にアップされたというわけです。しかしながら、アップロードした人物の不手際、音加工の未熟さによって、音質はクリアにもかかわらず決して万人が聴きやすいというものではなかったのです。低音域がきつすぎて音像が篭り、鮮明でない印象を与えるものであった上に、演奏終了後に音圧を絞り、次曲までにまた戻すという作業を繰り返しているのですが、それにより音圧ズレが生じていました。この作業は、アップした人物の会場入りが遅れ、録音し損なった曲があったり、同伴したガールフレンドが酔っ払って数曲で一緒に歌う声が入ってしまったり、アンコールでバッテリーが切れたりというトラブルを含んでいたため、テーパー仲間から同レベルの良質ソースを提供してもらい、編集して繋いだことの結果でした。この作業がすべて雑で、音圧を絞る過程で歪みが発生している個所もありました。この欠点は4公演の音源すべてに共通したものでしたが、当店はここに定評をいただくプロエンジニアのマスタリング技術を投入しました。低音域を緩和してサウンドバランスを最良にし、音圧ズレは完全に修正しました。歪みについては完全には除去できないレベルのものでしたので、極力緩和致しました。これにより、ネットそのままのマスターからは格段に聴きやすいものとなったと断言できます。このアップグレードマスターで聴くLA4公演の前半2公演をパックしたのが本盤です（後半2公演は「Volume 2」として同時リリース）。既に2日目公演はCDRタイトル「L.A. FORUM 2017 2nd Night」としてリリース済みで、そこでの磐石のパフォーマンスはファンの方ならご存知のことと思いますが、さすがクラプトンです。初日は初日なりの聴きどころを熱演で届けてくれました。初日はいきなりオープニングのSomebody Knockingで切れ味鋭いソロを決めています。そしてこの日の I Shot The Sheriffでのソロが素晴らしい！超絶速弾きは炸裂しないものの、非常にエモーショナルで歌心溢れるフレージングは、54年に渡るキャリアの集大成と言ってもよいものです。これほど感情の起伏に満ちたロングソロを弾けるギタリストはそうそういないでしょう。彼の心の中には、このLA公演に賭ける、秘めた思いがあったと思わざるを得ません。2日目公演でもオープニングのSomebody Knockingでのソロは切れています。この日の I Shot The Sheriffのソロ終盤は大胆なコード弾きでフレーズを作り上げます。それよりも素晴らしいのは、前曲Hoochie Coochie Manでのソロです。この曲で聴かれるキレキレのソロ、これは是非聴いていただきたいプレイです。今回の公演では、新たにセットに組まれたWhite Roomを含め、「A Celebration Of 50 Years Of Music」と題された公演に相応しく、クリーム時代のナンバーから70年代のソロ作品、90年代の「アンプラグド」ナンバー、そして近作からのナンバーと絶対はずすことのないオールド・ブルースカバーまでを網羅した、これぞクラプトンの歴史と言える内容になっていました。アンコールには、3月の公演と同様、盟友ギタリスト、ジミー・ヴォーンと売り出し中の若手黒人ギタリスト、ゲイリー・クラーク・ジュニアがお祝いに駆けつけ、全4公演で飛入り参加しています。ソロの順は、ゲイリー・クラーク・ジュニア、ジミー・ヴォーン、歌を挟んでクラプトンです。それぞれに味のある個性的なソロを披露していますが、最も流麗に決めているのは誰あろう、クラプトンなのです。本当にこれでツアー引退なのか？まだまだこんな切れ味鋭いプレイを聴かせてほしい。そんなファンの思いもはちきれる「最終章」のクラプトンをどうぞ本盤でご堪能ください。「Volume 2」とともに初回プレスのみの限定リリースとなりますので、どうぞお早めのオーダーをよろしくお願い致します。
