A sudden “retirement declaration” and a famous large standard pro shot in luxury co-starring are a gift release decision. Such a show, which is also a legend, was held “November 3, 1977 London performances”. It was a concert at “Wembley · Empire Pool (now: Wembley · Arena)” which is also the final day of “BLUE MOVES TOUR”.
This show is recorded with multiple cameras, it is known as a long-standing big staple. In 1979, it was broadcasted in a certain public broadcasting station in Japan, but in that case it is an excerpt version along the broadcasting frame. This work is a full length version of about 2 hours different from such a Japanese broadcast.
That quality is excellent. Vintage sensation also drifts in image quality and camera work only in television broadcasting 40 years ago, but the freshness of master is nothing. Although it can not be said that there is no “white line noise 1” indeed, it is just “not zero”. I can not find any dubbing traces, and the shining blonde shining through the spotlight is clear up to one. Brilliant coloring is the essence of that time, and it can be completely immersed in a glossy screen almost without full noise. Of course, the sound is also the best sound board. Some hiss noise enters somewhat in the middle of the show, but it also improves with several songs and it gets a beautiful sound as late as it is.
It is truly a historical show that is drawn with such quality multi-camera pro shot. In the set list, big hit songs of the 70’s line up with the slurry, and the singing voice of Elton singing it is also youthfulness of 30 years and 7 months. It is a wonderful concert that can not be thought of as a show of a person who stops music activities for a very long time after about a very long time.
However, this work is also a show which leaves a name in its “retirement declaration”. The historic moment will come after you finish singing “Bennie And The Jets”. Elton talks out smallly to the audience waiting for the next song. “I have not been on tour for a long time and I really got lost as to whether I really went back to the road but I decided, tonight is my last show (I have not been touring for a long time and it’s I’ve made a decision and this is the last show I’m gonna do. “Did you not measure the true intention of this word, or just could not hear it? Or, the audience returns somewhat strange cheers. In such a mood, “Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word” begins … ….
Alongside such a “retirement declaration”, the greatest sights of this work are performed with luxury guests. In the encore that began with introduction of band members after finishing the main part set, duets with two guests, Kiki Dee and Stevie Wonder have been realized. It is Kiki that first appears. Of course, “Do not Go Breaking My Heart”. Duets that seemed happy for a hit song that won first place in the UK single chart in the first year in the previous year. In the end, there are also scenes that cuddle and kiss.
It is Stevie Wonder that appears there. I sit on the piano after being escorted by Elton and Kiki. When Elton started to sing “Bite Your Lip (Get Up And Dance!)” Lightly, Stevie is playing tambourine seemingly pleasant, but when the song breaks up, Steve ‘s turn comes. Elton’s “Get Up, get up & dance ♪” involves scat with that soulful singing voice. And finally Elton gave up the piano, and in the end it was a dodger! Even though this co-star alone is a sightseeing spot, Elton at this time is right after declaring retirement. “This is the last show”, that last song lined up with Stevie … …. Just imagining the mental state of this moment is a deepest song.

Of course, after the announcement of the next album “A SINGLE MAN”, Elton did a big tour as if nothing had happened. However, this feeling at the time is one piece which is drawn with plent shot of zooming plenty. It is good to soak in a group of famous songs that are spelled out with youthful singing voices, or to rush to luxurious accompaniments, or to feel the feeling of Elton at the time. A large, classic historical pro shot that you can enjoy many times. Please, enjoy this opportunity.

(I haven’t been touring for a long time and it’s been a painful decision whether to go back on the road…. But I’ve made a decision and this is the last show I’m gonna do.)」 そんなムードの中で「Sorry Seems To Be The Hardest Word」が始まる……。
曲はもちろん、「Don’t Go Breaking My Heart(恋のデュエット)」。
エルトンが軽快に「Bite Your Lip (Get Up And Dance!)」
