このケベックは’83年北米ツアーの初日になった都市。さらに優れたオーディエンス録音が残された事もあり、従来から多くのアイテムが登場してきました。本作はその定番録音を、優れた上位マスターから音盤化。プレスCDのシカゴ公演にも遜色ない素晴らしいサウンドで、ライヴをじっくり楽しめます。

本音源は20年近く前に既発アイテムが登場していました。その時は”サウンドボード音源”という触れ込みでリリースされたほど、安定し優れた録音状態が特徴です。今回は同系統素材でも限りなくオリジナル・マスターに近いと思われるテープを入手。リマスターの上で音盤化しています。
オープニングの「Children Of The Grave」を聴けば判るとおり、ギーザーのベースやギランのヴォーカルまで明瞭に、豊かなダイレクト感で浮かび上がるサウンドは、今の耳で聴いても素晴らしいの一言。観客の歓声も邪魔にならず、ひたすら演奏を聴き込める音像は、本当にライン・ソースに思えるほどです！
サバス流のヘヴィネスとギランの軽妙なロックンロールが遭遇し、ベヴ・ベヴァンのグルーヴィなリズムを得た「Hot Line」、そして「Supernaut」と「Rock ‘N’ Roll Doctor」のメドレーは、ライヴ前半の大きな聴き所です。重厚な低音に裏付けられた「Iron Man」や「Zero The Hero」・「Heaven And Hell」は、アイオミのギターとギーザーのベースが聴き応え満点。さらにシカゴ公演では演奏されなかった「Digital Bitch」は聴き逃せません！　ヘヴィな色合いを得た「Smoke On The Water」に、ギランの狂おしい叫びが堪らない「Paranoid」まで、本録音はギラン・サバスの魅力を堪能できるでしょう！1983年サバス・ライヴを楽しむ上で欠かせない一本を、じっくりとお楽しみください！
