ところが、本作はその位相反転がない正常マスター。この差は超絶に圧倒的！ ネット音源を聴いた方は「あの音で“超極上”は言い過ぎ」と思われるでしょうが、本来のサウンドはまったく違う。クリアにサッと晴れ渡ったサウンドは、イコライジングやリマスターでは絶対、到達し得ない次元。ネット公開マスターを聴いていた方ほど、その凄まじい変異ぶりに驚かれると思いますが、本作こそが“本当の音”なのです。それにしても、ネット公開マスターはなぜ位相反転させていたのか?!?!?
そして、そのクオリティは完全にオフィシャル級ながら、オフィシャルとはまったく違う“卓直結感”が全開。ギターもベースも荒縄のごとく轟き、オジーは呼吸音さえも脳内再生。なかなか聴けないアダム・ウェイクマンのキーボードやリズムギターさえも鮮やかです。大歓声が１キロ先にいるようなバランスに現場の臨場感など微塵もありませんが、その代わりにバンドとのシンクロ感は異常にもほどがある。これほど鮮烈なド直結サウンドボードは、2005年ギリシャ公演の『ROCKWAVE FESTIVAL 2005』以来。文字通り「10年一度」以上、干支が１周してようやく巡り会えた“SABBATHと完全一体”アルバムなのです。

そんなサウンドで描かれる本生100％ステージがまた意外なほどの絶好調。アイオミ／ギーザーの安定ぶりは予想の範囲内ですが、気になるのは無修正のオジー。昔から外すのも当たり前で、近年ではヘロヘロでも仕方ない……と半ばあきらめ気味でしたが、このショウは実に実に素晴らしい！ いつになく安定していて良く伸びる。最終盤の「Children Of The Grave」こそギリギリではあるものの、ボロボロがデフォルトの難曲「Snowblind」「Dirty Women」でも踏ん張ってくれます。単に極上サウンドボードというだけでも嬉しいのに、まさかの名演ぶり。このショウはオーディエンス録音もないので不安でしたが、問答無用に“THE END”最高峰の１本に決定です!!

再編サバスと言えば、オフィシャルの映像作品は３本。『THE LAST SUPPER』『LIVE… GATHERED IN THEIR MASSES』、それにリリースされたばかりの『THE END: LIVE IN BIRMINGHAM』です。しかし、この３本だけでコンプリートかと思ったら大間違い。他にもオフィシャル映像は制作・公表されているのです。本作は、そんなプロショットを集成したものです。本作に収められているのは、大きく分けて３種。それぞれ、詳しく見ていきましょう。
【2002年６月３日：エリザベス女王即位50周年記念コンサート】
まず登場するのは、BLACK SABBATHが一時休業していた2002年。エリザベス女王の即位50年を祝う記念イベントに出演した際のマルチカメラ・プロショットです。当時のサバスは、新作スタジオ・アルバムの制作に挑むも頓挫。“OZZFEST 2001”から“OZZFEST 2004”までの３年間は休止していました。このイベントは、その間に実現した唯一のコンサート。ギーザーは不参加の“オジー＆アイオミ”ではありますが、英国王家の前で演奏する栄誉に浴した記念碑パフォーマンスなのです。
このイベントは、ポール・マッカートニーやブライアン・メイ、エリック・クラプトンなどが参加して43曲が演奏しましたが、“オジー＆アイオミ”は「Paranoid」１曲だけ。その模様はオフィシャルDVD『PARTY AT PALACE: QUEEN’S GOLDEN JUBILEE』にも残されている。この映像は、そのDVDから起こされたもの。元が公式品だけに、そのクオリティは問答無用の鉄壁・完璧。それに字数を費やす必要がないほどです。その映像美で描かれる記念碑パフォーマンスが実に面白い。冒頭、司会者がコーラス陣も含めて豪華な演奏陣を紹介していきますが、シンプルな「Paranoid」には大所帯感はゼロ（苦笑）。本当に演奏に参加しているかも疑問ですが、その中で注目したいフィル・コリンズでしょう。彼のシャープなドラミングに乗せ、オジー＆アイオミが狂った男の歌を王家のまで演奏する……なんとも不思議な気分になる映像なのです。
【2005年６月11日：DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL】
続いて登場するのは、３年後の2005年。英国を代表する巨大フェス“DOWNLOAD FESTIVAL”に出演した際のプロショット３曲です。このショウは映像作品にする計画でもあったのか、全編がオフィシャル撮影。タイムカウンターも生々しい流出フル・プロショット『DOWNLOAD 2005』でも有名なコンサートです。本作は、そんな流出プロショットではなく、正真正銘のオフィシャル映像。『OZZFEST: 10TH ANNIVERSARY』でリリースされたバージョンを収録しました。フルにはほど遠い３曲だけですが、タイムカウンターもなく、ミックスも映像も公式仕事で磨き上げられ、流出完全版とは別アングルでキッチリと作り込まれた究極品質のプロショットです。
また、このショウはビル・ワードが参加しているのもポイント。オリジナル４人の最終パフォーマンスは英国版”ロックの殿堂”の授賞式でした（ギフトDVDR『THE LAST OF ORIGINAL 4』でお楽しみ頂けます）が、“映像作品”として発表されたのは、この３曲が最後なのです。

３つめは、HEAVEN & HELLプロジェクトを過ぎて再始動を果たした時代。最終アルバム『13』やライヴ作品『LIVE… GATHERED IN THEIR MASSES』プロモーションのために制作された４曲分のクリップです。
まずは「Paranoid」のライヴ・クリップ。再始動一発目として地元バーミンガムで行われたウォームアップ・ギグ（2012年５月19日）で撮影されたもの。甲状腺ガンを告知されたアイオミが初めて公に姿を現したショウであり、彼はこの日の盛り上がりによって「まだ、やれる」「ショウこそがやるべき事だ」と確信したそう。そんな“人生の一夜”の最終曲を目撃できるオフィシャル映像です。
その次は『13』からもクリップ「God Is Dead?」と「End Of The Beginning」。テレビドラマ“CSI”とタイアップした「End Of The Beginning」もカッコイイですが、必見は「God Is Dead?」でしょう。普通の作り込み系クリップですが、オジー・サバスにこの手のクリップは超貴重。実のところ、オジーサバスのクリップはライヴ仕立てばかりであり、歌詞世界を作り込んだクリップは1973年の「Sabbath Bloody Sabbath」と「God Is Dead?」の２つしかないのです。
そして、最後は「Loner」のライヴ・クリップ。『LIVE… GATHERED IN THEIR MASSES』のプロモですが、ライヴシーンのみの本編とは違い、バックステージ・シーンや会場に向かうファンの様子もたっぷりフィーチュアした完全別バージョンです。
