しかし今回はそのBBCバージョンにファンが先のサウンドボード録音をシンクロさせたバージョンをDVD化しました。それでいてオリジナルの音声も選択式で鑑賞できるという今までありそうでなかったこのバージョンで「AT SHEA STADIUM」を見ると実に面白い！同番組は放送時にいくつかの曲にオーバーダビングが施され、録音時にトラブルが起きた「Help!」などは演奏そのものが録り直されていることが明らかとなっていますが、こうして映像と音源がシンクロされた状態と比べてみればそれは一目瞭然でしょう。もちろんこれまでもビートルズのパートでそのようなシンクロは試みられてきましたが、ここでは前座のパートもそのサウンドボード録音が組み合わされた結果、より当日のリアルな雰囲気が伝わってくるのです。それにこのコンサートはモノラルで収録されましたので、これが純正の状態でもありました。
