ジンジャー・ベイカーが自身のリーダー・バンド“エアフォース”の解散後、“スリーマン・アーミー”のガーヴィッツ兄弟と結成した“ベイカー・ガーヴィッツ・アーミー”の75年のレディング大学でのステージを完璧なステレオ・サウンドボード録音で完全収録したCD-R。このコンサートはＢＢＣラジオでの放映用に収録されたもので、そのため番組時間内に収まるショート・セットとなっていた。本音源は、トレント・サイト「Wolfgang’s Vault」にアップされたものをマスターとしている。本作のアートワークにも採用されているように、時期的にはセカンド・アルバム『ELYSIAN ENCOUNTER』をリリースした頃のライブで、The Gambler、Remember/Memory Lane、People が当アルバムからのお披露目となっていた。元々トリオでスタートしたバンドだったが、ガーヴィッツ兄弟の作風を活かし、楽曲をスケールアップさせるために、セカンド・アルバムからはリード・ボーカルにスニップス・パーソンズ、キーボードにピーター・レマーを加入させて５人編成としていた。その効果がこのステージでは如実に現れており、ベイカーお得意の見せどころのドラムソロももちろん組まれてはいるが、各曲では後にAOR路線でソロ・デビューするエイドリアン・ガーヴィッツの秀逸な楽曲構成と、兄弟のコーラス・ワーク、スニップスのハスキーでソウルフルなボーカルがうまく溶け合った、ファンキーかつメロディアスなナンバーに、百戦錬磨のベイカーのドラムがマッチして盛り上げるという、見事な展開が示されている。楽曲はバラエティに富んでおり、ベイカーのプレイも素晴らしい。Ｂ級バンドと思われがちだが、これぞプロ、と呼べる個性的でクオリティの高いパフォーマンスが聴ける。
