それにバルセロナという土地柄、ホットな盛り上がりが良くも悪くも捉えられてしまうきらいがありますが、それに関しても既発音源と比べると落ち着いて鑑賞できるバランスである点も今回の大きなアドバンテージでしょう。音質に関しても2007年のオーディエンス録音の割には驚くほどアナログチックな質感を感じさせるものであり、耳を突く嫌味なデジタル臭のない音質に好感を持たれることでしょう。そこに程よい奥行きが相まって、今から七年前（もうそんなに経ってしまったとは！）のステージを見事に再現する優秀な録音です。

　さすがに7年も前のライブ・ステージ、しかも2005年から始まったツアーの終盤ということで、演奏が持ちうる盤石のスピード感は格別。先にリリースされた「SLANE 2007」より約二か月前のライブということになるのですが、この日はさらにアッパーなテンション、ミックを中心として素晴らしい演奏が繰り広げられているのです。その激アツな演奏にバルセロナの観衆も大熱狂。「Rough Justice」などは本当にスピーディで、しかもミックが存分にシャウトするという最高の演奏です。そんな勢いが最高に輝きを放つのがこの日最初の目玉でもあった「Ain’t Too Proud To Beg」でしょう。まるで1975年か？と錯覚しそうになるようなワイルドな演奏、さらにここでもシャウトしてみせるミックの歌声が最高のパフォーマンスとなっています。そんな中で一歩間違えたら演奏が台無しになりかねないギター・ソロを弾いてしまうキースが何とも彼らしいのですが（苦笑）。

　次に演奏された「Streets Of Love」は当時のレギュラー・ソングで、2007年ではこの日が唯一の演奏となりましたが、バンドは非常に丁寧な演奏を聴かせるからさすがです。ところが観客の盛り上がりはさっぱり（苦笑）で、今年のローマのバージョンのような盛り上がりを呼び起こさなかったことが不思議なくらいでした。そして今回の音源はBステージに入ってからも音質の変化が少ないというもう一つのアドバンテージがあるのですが、そこで披露された二曲がまたどちらも素晴らしい出来。特に「It’s Only Rock’n Roll」のタイトでスピーディな演奏は2012年以降の同曲と比べて別次元と言えるほどで、2007年のストーンズが生み出していたグルーブの強力さを再確認出来る新音源と言えるでしょう。もちろん今回も限定のプレスCDです。ぜひこの日の演奏をじっくりとお楽しみください！
