Than RITCHIE BLACKMORE’S RAINBOW of the Japan tour was realized in the fall of 1995, the pattern that are made Yoyogi Olympic pool performances on November 11 and 12 days, is the release determined by the four sets of fans must listen! This work is complete package the pattern of Tokyo 2Days in even among traders is not known at all ultra-high-quality audience Master (both recorded by the same taper). The first day of the density of the one song had high solo also substantial, and the second day a short arrangement with masterpieces has been one after another play, and then plenty of enjoy a special live!

Left the DEEP PURPLE in 1993 autumn, Richie got the freedom to be able to fully practice the music you want to do yourself, organize a new band he gathered the members in the Long Island neighborhood that has been the home. We will comeback as a solo. Is gathered for this time Richie of the original, John O’Reilly and keyboard of Paul Maurice of drum and such-based Greg Smith, in a player who young while also a playing force, the vocals (Candice Night There is) Doogie White that was found among the audition tape was chosen.
Although initially Richie showed a reluctance to “RAINBOW” name, there is also a request from the record company, the band determine the activities in the final “RITCHIE BLACKMORE’S RAINBOW” name. Album production from January 1995 has started, leads to announcement as “STRANGER IN US ALL” in September. Same work was attracting attention as a long-awaited Richie revival work was then thrilled the fans with its excellent content. Tour of the new Hissage nascent RAINBOW, when you start immediately after the album announcement of September, such as European countries and the United Kingdom, it was enthusiastic fans in many places.
That was chosen to conclude the 1995 tour due to “STRANGER IN US ALL” was the Japanese. Richie in PURPLE of 1993, there are circumstances that left the band while a visit to Japan at hand, this visit to Japan for himself there was a place for sake in mind. Of course, Japanese fans are also expected to approach to the visit to Japan of Ritchie to be the first time in five years since 1990 there was a big thing. Only it was realized as a “rainy day RAINBOW”, this Japan tour came to be carried out in a strange excitement from the first day.
Than that special Japan tour in this work, Onban of on the basis of the original DAT master the on the first day and the second day was carried out in a continuous Tokyo Yoyogi performance, will become a wholly first appearance! Realism of superb sound and superlative enough to seem even to question the “why not press on CD?”. This work is the two shows that were burned in the hearts of fans, to relive without exhaustive in all of the listeners!

The live of November 11, which became the disk 1 and 2 in Japan premiere, has been recorded over a period of about 135 minutes. Recording is started from about 2 minutes before the curtain, you can see vividly the excitement of “long-awaited live begins” in the hall. The first day after the rang the “Land Of Hope And Glory” of opening BGM, you have happening is known that for some reason without Turning to live the “Fly By Night” of Rush flowing (in Batsunagi basis). This state also listen hand is to relive in the realism of being at the venue.
But “Over The Rainbow” in and live in the dawn is told, climax, such as if the venue was no such trouble. Became the performance of 11 years in Japan excitement of “Spotlight Kid” will tingle all that listen.
A surprisingly even ultra-clear sound quality, it takes especially vocal and Richie guitar Deguy is clearly listening. Reasonable echo that reflects the sound of the venue, to produce a response listen to excellent audience recording unique (the audience is large chorus “Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll” is particularly great). Calm Kikikoma to and “Hunting Humans” in the mood was, such as swollen involving the venue, “Wolf To The Moon”, you can see that the new song has also been accepted by the Positive. Richie solo comprise 14 minutes of the “Ariel” is also splendor that it can be said that the peak merit of sound quality as well as performance. Hand to listen to this will also become overwhelmed! Large listening stations in this work is the moment the “Burn” is pop in the encore. The single-mindedly joy Bubbly appearance of the audience from the moment that riff sounded until the ending, listening to you will be excited to here are (up to the end of a show announcement has complete recording).

And the pattern of the tour the second day in the disc 3, 4 (November 12, 2008), here also complete recording over a period of about 130 minutes! Although excellent outlook is, of course, in the impression that taper to more than the first day of the recording is close to the stage, you can enjoy the live in the sound image full of dynamism from the “Spotlight Kid” of the opening (the song is recorded in 1 minute platform is There is a somewhat unstable situations, but will recover soon).
This day was going on equipment trouble on the guitar (as can be seen from the electromagnetic noise to be a scorching) live early. That can not be “Too Late For Tears,” a start for treatment, Deguy is (there is still Batsunagi although the technical) unexpected scene that sing “Rainbow Eyes” was born.
Live is much more excitement in this happening. Suddenly show the enthusiasm such as Angkor “Long Live Rock ‘n’ Roll” (of course, “Black Night” entering), was impressed by the fan “Still I’m Sad”, have already drifted dignity of masterpieces while new song was the “Black Masquerade”, a number of great performance, it will be knocked out until the hand to hear not only the audience.
Also, the second day of the features of the first day was a lot play music that has not been taken up. That “Love Hurts” and of Kyokuso to “Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?” Remind, in addition to the “Street Of Dreams”, “Stone Cold” of Joe era, in the encore, “Maybe Next Time”, “Woman From Tokyo” and largess to be played until the “Smoke On the Water”. Richie solo compared with the day before, but is slightly shorter (we are correspondingly full play volley), is a live, which gives a high satisfaction in hand to listen!

Tokyo 2Days that are contained in this work, in the past, “HUNTING GLORY” (Shades-221) and “FLY BY NIGHT” (Shades-008), excellent, such as further “RETURN OF THE BLACK” (Power Gate-160) the item has been released, both of which we have not greatly please the fans with a high quality. This work is in the sound quality is not good as or superior to it, yet Tokyo performances definitive edition of which was packaged with two shows. In exceptional sound that it is not a press CD would seem really sorry, Please enjoy the two shows that are noted in Richie career. One not be missed if the fan is the grand release of here in a luxurious 4-Disc!

あの「Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow?」を思い出させる曲想の「Love Hurts」や、ジョー時代の「Street Of Dreams」・「Stone Cold」に加え、アンコールでは「Maybe Next Time」・「Woman From Tokyo」そして「Smoke On The Water」まで演奏される大盤振る舞い。
