3年の空白期間を経てリリースされた1988年「OOH YEAH!」に伴う10月の日本ツアーは全国を縦断する形で9公演が行われましたが、本作は13日の初日・静岡公演に次ぐツアー2日目の、10月14日、完成したばかりの東京ドームでのライヴを公式級の完璧なステレオ・サウンドボード録音で2時間に渡って完全収録した、ファン必聴・必携の1枚です。ダリル・ホールとも仕事上の親交も深いテクニシャンRSから流出したとされる完璧なサウンドボード・マスター。本公演は当時、部分的にテレビ放送もされましたが、本盤は勿論、完全別マスターで、放送未収ナンバーの数々も含め、コンサートの全貌をクリアーなサウンドで聴くことができます。基本的に楽音はモノラルのライン録音で録られていますが、観客の歓声や楽音の残響音は左右に振れた形で最終ミックスされているようです。（マスターに散見されたアナログノイズは原音に影響が出ないように出来得る限り丁寧に削除しました。）ライヴは二部構成で演奏され、第一部がディスク１に、第二部とアンコールをディスク２に配して収録してあります。オープニングは新作「OOH YEAH!」同様にDowntown Life、Everything Your Heart Desiresをプレイ、以降は、新作から Keep On Pushin’ Love、Talking All Night、Rockability、Missed Opportunity、Realoveを、過去のヒット作を巧み絡めながら、冒頭からアンコールまで7曲を満遍なく披露しているのが特徴です。前半では、ポール・ヤングがカバーでヒットさせたEverytime You Go Awayをアコースティックで実に感動的にプレイ。前回の来日から、ベースのT-Boneを除き、全てのメンバーを一新させて臨んだこの時期のホール＆オーツですが、卓越した演奏力を擁した各メンバーのプレイは圧巻で、各所で見事なアンサンブルプレイを堪能することができます。第二部後半、Sara Smileからの代表曲連発パートの、盛り上がりは凄いものがあります。アンコールはビートルズ・カバーのI Saw Her Standing Thereで、東京ドームの大観衆を大いにエキサイトさせています。ここまで高品質かつ価値の高いマスターは85年マンチェスター同様にプレスCDで残したいファンのリクエストにお応えしてのプレスCD化。ちょうど25年前の今頃、華やかに開催された一大ライヴの最良のドキュメント。80年代の洋楽ファン必聴・必携の1枚です。
