しかし一連のパラディアム公演はオーディエンス録音ながら驚異的なクオリティの音源が存在していたにもかかわらず、サウンドボードの優等生「PAID THE～」音源のせいで見過ごされていたのも事実でしょう。特に連続公演の前半は、まるで「1976年にデジタル機材を持ち込んだのか？」と錯覚しそうになるほど圧巻のクリアネスを誇るオーディエンス録音が軒並み存在し、まずはGODFATHERが「LAND OF 1000 DANCES」と言うタイトルで10月30日の公演をリリースしています。

もう一つの新曲「The Promise」もまた夏から演奏されるようになった新曲ですが、歌の内容がマネージャーとのことについてと解釈されることを嫌い、結局レコーディングされながらも「DARKNESS ON THE～」に収録されなかったのは有名な話。とはいっても、ここでの演奏からは苦境の中でツアーを行っていたスプリングスティーンの感情がこぼれだしており、そのリアルな歌いっぷりが最高の音質で、これまた捉えられています。この曲は「PAID THE COST TO BE THE BOSS」の日にこの曲は演奏されなかっただけに、貴重度も高まるというもの。
そしてこの日は終盤の「Quarter To Three」では本家のゲイリー・US・ボンズが飛び入りというサプライズ。いつもと違ってスプリングスティーンが敬愛するUS・ボンズがリード・ボーカルを取っていますが、前半はスプリングスティーンと彼が交代で歌っているのが微笑ましい。そうした新曲あり、ゲストの飛び入りありといった、76年パラディアムならではのライブを驚異の音質を誇るオーディエンス録音で捉えた音源が限定のプレスCDにてリリースされます。オフィシャルでは味わえない、この凄まじいばかりの音質とハイ・テンションな演奏を味わってほしい！
