アルバム『NOTHING LIKE THE SUN』のリリースとともに87年からソロ・ツアーを実 施したスティングだが、88 年はアムネスティ・インターナショナル主催の「ヒューマン・ライツ・ナウ！」ワールド・ツアーに参加した。本作は、10月15日にアルゼンチ ン、ブエノアイレスで行われたコンサートからの80分間のステレオ・サウンドボード・ソースを収めたCD-R。音質はオフィシャル並みのハイ・クオリティである。バックバ ンドはサックス、パーカッションを含む大所帯構成で、スティングらしいワールド・ ミュージック・テイストのステージが展開されている。当該アルバムからのクオリティ の高いナンバーのライブ・バージョンが聴けるもの楽しみだが、多く収録されている ポリス・ナンバーがかつてとはまったく曲の表情を変えているのも聴きどころだ。スティングはこの時期ベースを女性ベーシスト、トレイシー・アンワー スに任せ、専らフェンダー・ストラトキャ スターをプレイしていた。スペイン語圏を 意識してFragilidad、Ellas Danzan Solaでは現地語で歌っており、多彩な才能を見せている。アンコールとなったEllas Danzan Solaでは同ツアーに参加していたピーター・ガブリエル、Every Breath You Takeでは同じくブルース・スプリングスティーンが参加しているのも見逃せない。
