The initial live performance of Van Halen before his official debut is recorded in a 3-disc set with sound board recording. First, Disc 1 recorded two live performances (February and April) at a weekend dance party at Pasadena High School as a local band in 1975 with high-quality stereo line recording. The original songs are only I Wanna Be Your Lover, Take Your Whiskey Home, and I Live With Fools, and the rest is devoted to playing cover songs. Still, Eddie’s outstanding guitar play, which can be heard clearly and directly in line recording, is the best and boasts a quality that can be enjoyed over and over again. Deep Purple Maybe I’m A Leo will be unbearable for fans of playing style. Budgie’s In For The Kill, Spooky Tooth’s Wildfire, ZZ Top’s Brown Sugar, and Sugar Loaf’s Don’t Call Us, We’ll Call You are valuable performances that can only be heard on this sound source and are a must-have for fans. The last is a bonus and includes House Of Pain and Runnin’With The Devil from the Gene Simmons demo recorded in the fall of 1976. Discs 2 & 3 recorded a live performance at the Golden West Ballroom on May 9th, one year after the Pasadena High School sound source, with high-quality line recording. The number of original songs has increased dramatically in the set, and familiar numbers that will be recorded in the album later are appearing here and there. (Show Your Love is I’m The One) This is a monaural sound board recording, but the sound quality is excellent, and you can listen to it without stress. In the past, there were only 15 songs recorded on Disc 2, but a few years ago, the latter half of the show, centered on cover songs, was unearthed and became available for listening. The first half, full of original songs, is great, but the second half, where you can listen to Kiss’s Rock And Roll All Nite, Aerosmith’s Sweet Emotion, and Bad Company’s Live For The Music in quick succession, is also full of fun. Dave’s screaming vocals are great, but Eddie’s play with awesome fast bullets everywhere will be heard by everyone. Hots On For Nowhere, which is performed with the introduction “From Zeppelin’s new work”, is a valuable cover that can only be heard at this live performance. The bonus track includes additional interviews with local radio stations at the time. The best version that almost carefully removes the noise scattered in the original sound source. It is a 3-disc set that everyone from beginners to enthusiasts can fully enjoy.

A 30-set limited release 3-CD-R that collects early live recordings from Van Halen’s stereo sound board. DISC 1 is a live sound source of 1975 that was recently posted on the net and is said to have leaked related parties. Tracks 1, 3 and 4 “I Wanna Be Your Lover”, “Take Your Whiskey Home” and “Wolffirre” are original songs, and “Take Your Whiskey Home” will be included in the third album. The unreleased “Wolffirre” guitar play is really cool. Tracks 5-12 “Chevrolet (ZZ TOP)” “Maybe I’m A Leo (DEEP PURPLE)” “Brown Sugar (ZZ TOP)” “And We All Had A Real Good Time (EDGER WINTER)” “Walk Away (JAMES) “GANG)” “Rock And Roll Hoochie Koo (RICK DERRINGER)” “Don’t Call Us, We’ll Call You (SUGAR LOAF)” “I Live With Fools” is one set, but the sound is a little unstable and the bass The sound sometimes suddenly becomes louder. There are many rare songs that are cover songs other than “I Live With Fools” which will be recorded on the third album later. Tracks 13 and 14 “House Of Pain” “Runnin’With The Devil” are demo songs with excellent sound quality produced by Gene Simmons. DISC 2 was live on May 9, 1976, with tracks 2-7 “On Fire” “Show Your Love” “Last Child (AEROSMITH)” “Tush” “The Rover” “The Fool And Me” and tracks 8 ~ 16 “Let’s Get Rockin'” “Ice Cream Man (JOHN BRIM)” “Last Night” “Eruption” “We Die Bold” “Somebody Get Me A Doctor” “Babe, Don’t Leave Me Alone” “Oceanside” “She’s You can listen to two sets of “The Woman”. In the first set, Dave’s vocal mic was choppy, and Aerosmith’s cover “Last Child” wasn’t playing the guitar for about a minute. The song also has cutouts, but it’s the same for the next set. Here, except for “Ice Cream Man”, the songs are original songs, and that “Ice Cream Man” will also be recorded first. The recording of the guitar solo “Eruption” at this time is very valuable, and although there is no tapping, the composition of two and a half minutes is close to the first “Eruption”. DISC 3 Tracks 1-7 “Rock’n Roll All Night (KISS)” “Beer Drinkers & Hell Raisers (ZZ TOP)” “Summertime Blues (EDDIE COCHLAN)” “Sweet Emotion (AEROSMITH)” “Live For The Music (BAD)” “COMPANY)” “Hots On For Nowhere (LED ZEPPLIN)” “La Grange (ZZ TOP)” are also live on May 9th, but they are all cover songs. If the date is correct, 3 sets will be recorded, and it is interesting to have a set list without duplication. It’s a must-listen for fans, as you can listen to the early sound sources of high-quality play in the club with high-quality sound. As a bonus track, an interview with Dave broadcast on the radio is recorded.
