本作はその’81年のM.S.G.初来日（コージーにとっては通算4度目の来日）が行われた1ヶ月ほど後、9月19日にラジオで放送された音楽番組を、46分30秒にわたって収録したもの。これはマイケルではなくコージーに焦点を絞った番組で、コージーへのインタビューを中心としつつも、彼がこれまで残してきた楽曲の数々、さらに12分（！）にも及ぶスタジオ・ドラム・セッションが収録されており、その内容には驚かされます。
同種の音源は本作登場以前にも一部のマニアの間では知られていましたが、本作で用いられたマスターはその鮮度や安定感から考えても、頭ひとつ抜きん出た存在だと断言できます。特別で貴重な音源を、理想的なサウンドで全てのコージー・ファンに満喫させます！

オープニングでまず飛び出すのは「Into The Arena」。しかしなぜかスロウな速度で流れていて、いきなり驚かされてしまいます（おそらくラジオ局が45回転シングルを、誤って33回転で再生したのだと思われます）。続くインタビューではDJの軽快な語りにジョークを交えつつ、丁寧に応えるコージーのコメントが非常に楽しいです（もちろん通訳入り）。
彼がDJの質問に対して、これまでを振り返り「16歳の頃、音楽の先生は皆”お前は最低だ。そんなプレイじゃ何もできない。金を稼ぐなんて無理だね”と言い続けられてきたから、自分が出来る事を証明しようと思って一生懸命やったのさ」・「そこからドイツ行ったりして頑張ってその後ジェフ・ベックのバンドに加入した。ジェフは非常に気難しい人間で一緒に仕事するのは大変な人なんだけど、とにかく自分も彼に負けないように強いキャラクターにならなきゃいけなかった。彼とは数年仕事したよ」と、熱心に答える場面には、誰もが思わず聴き入ってしまうでしょう。

この他にも、

さらにラストでは12分ものドラムソロを特別にフィーチャーし、番組最大の聴き所を盛り上げます（これは有名ミュージシャンが出演する同様の放送セッション音源でも、特に長い部類といえます）。「いかにもコージー！」といった個性的なオカズやプレイが次から次へと炸裂するこの名テイク。本人もノリに乗っている様子が伝わってきます。これほどのライン・ソースで聴ける事を喜ばないファンなど、果たして存在するのでしょうか！？

今回プレスCDタイトルとしてリリースされる「SPECIAL ROCK DRUM SEMINAR」と同様に、本作もまたプレスCD化されたとしても全く違和感の無い名録音。「SPECIAL ROCK DRUM SEMINAR」と併せて、ひとりの人物としてのコージーへ肉薄する本音源を、この機会にぜひ全てのコージー・ファンの皆さんにお楽しみ頂きたいと思います！
