From 2010 “The Wall” tour, it contains two sources of superb high quality sounds that are outstanding.
On the last day of Chicago 4 consecutive performances on Disk 1 & 2, the September 24th live was completely recorded with unprecedented super high quality. I think that the listener will be overwhelmed by the intense sound of the opening In The Flesh, but since then the audience’s expectations are not disappointed, the thick super clear sound superior to stability, it is recorded tightly until the last I will. The sound image which does not make the recording person feel even high is the high level all the time, and it is feeling no different from the line recording if the sound is good so far. Besides, it is a very good sound image which makes us feel the wonderfulness of microphone recording, which is true and reverse, like a sound often found in digital recording, which is too cool like an ear. I am fortunate that there are no annoying audiences around the recorder, and I can concentrate on listening to the sound without any stress. Chorus of passage of Nobody Home is impressive transmitted the atmosphere of the place. Vera’s vocal is recorded more attractively for a moment, and I think that anyone who hears it will agree. Comfortably Numb’s sound that was recorded with a neat sound image is too delicious sound calm. The sound of drums and basses in front of the guitar solo near 4:30 is the best. Sharp omission, sharpness and tightness, I’m sure you have never heard In The Flesh of the ideal sound so far. The drum sound here is a masterpiece, and the following Run Like Hell can experience the awfulness of it, and I can understand this hard and aggressive part that this recording is not extraordinary. Waiting For The Worms There is a rare performance at the beginning at the beginning. It is recorded with a perfect sound image until the last minute.
On the discs 3 & 4, the first day of Boston’s three consecutive performances September 30th live show was fully recorded with the highest sound quality of anger. Although it is unrelated to the main part of the live, it also contains opening opening of 6 minutes and 20 seconds before the beginning of Outside The Wall Intro, making it a longer real document. This take also is recorded with sound which is extremely clear and neat and stable as well as the last day performance of Chicago. The shouts of cheers are caught largely by this person, but the musical tones are included in Ultra Clear, all the songs are listening and it is a perfect score. Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 The explosive sound of the ending is also surprisingly recorded clearly. The audience cheers responding to Mother’s screens are also great documents. It seems that the Chicago performance was recorded in front of the recording position, the percussive sound and the sound standing are felt sharper by the Chicago performance version, but the expansion of the whole sound and the completeness of the sound image are outstanding in the Boston performance It is. 2010年「The Wall」ツアーより、撰び抜かれた屈指の超高音質２ソースを収録。
ディスク１＆２にはシカゴ４連続公演最終日、9月24日のライブを空前絶後の超高音質で完全収録。オープニングのIn The Fleshの強烈なサウンドに聴き手は度肝を抜かれると思いますが、以降も聴き手の期待を裏切らない、安定感抜群の太くクリアーなスーパーサウンドで、ラストまでしっかりと収録されています。録音者の存在すら感じさせないような音像は終始ハイレベルで、ここまで音が良いとライン録音と何ら変わらない感じです。しかも、デジタル録音でよくあるような、耳に刺さるようなクール過ぎる音像とは真逆の、マイク録音の素晴らしさを多分に感じさせる、大変優良な音像です。レコーダー周りにも煩い観客がいないのも幸いして、一切のストレス無く、音に集中して聴き入ることができます。Nobody Homeの一節の合唱は場内の雰囲気も伝わり感動的。Veraのボーカルが一瞬はっとするほど魅力的に録音されており、これは聴いた人なら誰もが同意されることと思います。端正な音像で録音されたComfortably Numbのラウド過ぎない落ち着いたサウンドは絶品。4:30付近のギターソロ手前のドラムとベースの音等は最高です。抜けが良くシャープでタイト、これ程までに理想的なサウンドのIn The Fleshはあまり聴いたことがないのではないでしょうか。ここでのドラムサウンドは圧巻で、続くRun Like Hellでもその凄まじさを体感でき、この録音が尋常なものでないのは、こういったハードでアグレッシヴなパートでより理解できます。Waiting For The Worms冒頭で珍しく演奏の躓きがあります。最後の最後まで完璧な音像で録音されています。
ディスク３＆４にはボストン３連続公演の初日9月30日のライブをこちらも怒涛の最高音質で完全収録。ライブの本編とは無関係なのですが、Outside The Wall Introスタート前の開演オープニングを6分20秒も収録しており、より長いリアルなドキュメントとなっています。本テイクもまた、シカゴ最終日公演同様に非常にクリアーで端正かつ安定感抜群のサウンドで収録されています。どよめく歓声はこちらの方が大きめに捉えられていますが、楽音はウルトラクリアーに収録されており、どの曲も聴きごたえ満点です。Another Brick In The Wall Part 2 エンディングの爆裂音もこちらが驚く程クリアーに録れています。Motherのスクリーンに呼応する観客の歓声も素晴らしいドキュメントになっています。録音ポジションはシカゴ公演のほうが前方で収録されたと思われ、パーカッシヴな響きや音の立ちはシカゴ公演版のほうが鋭く感じられますが、全体の音の広がりや音像の完成度は、ボストン公演は際立っています。両音源ともラストのOutside The Wall終演後までしっかりとショウを記録しています。世界を代表する最新ウォールライブ音源の最高峰２本をぜひ、お楽しみ下さい。
