In 1977, New York recorded the final day of the Madison Square Garden 6th performance, the June 14th performance, with a high-quality audience recording for 2 hours and 5 minutes. In the past, it was a performance like an air pocket where there was only an incomplete version of “Strange Tales From The Road” with a bad sound, and partly this was a performance of “A Week For Badgeholders” LA on June 22nd. There is a history of connecting the first part of the take of the day and releasing it, but in any case, this performance has never been released in a decent way. This edition is a surprisingly good level of high-quality audience recording that experts have labeled “The most complete and best sounding Source”, undoubtedly convinced of master quality, from the intro to the beginning of Moby Dick ( It has been recorded up to 4 minutes), and it is definitely one of the must-haves for all Zeppelin collectors. The sound, which has a natural and clear feel, is so wonderful that everyone may find it unbelievable that it was the last day of the 1977 MSG. The performance is also good enough, and in a rare place, John Paul is playing “Sakura Sakura” in the middle of the piano solo in No Quarter on this day. The definitive edition of the final day of MSG1977, which can be listened to with the longest and highest sound quality, will be released on a 2-disc press CD.

1977年、ニューヨークはマジソン・スェア・ガーデン6日公演の最終日、6月14日公演を、高音質オーディエンス録音にて2時間5分収録。過去に「Strange Tales From The Road」という音の悪い不完全版の既発盤が存在するだけのエアポケットのような公演で、部分的には「A Week For Badgeholders」ＬＡ6月22日公演でこの日のテイクの最初の部分を繋げてリリースしたといった経緯があったりしますが、いずれにせよ、本公演は、今までまともな形で一切、リリースされてきませんでした。本盤は、専門家が「The most complete and best sounding Source」と判を押している、間違いなくマスター・クオリティを確信させる、驚くほどに良好なレベルの高音質オーディエンス録音で、イントロからMoby Dick冒頭（4分間）までを収録しており、間違いなく、全てのツェッペリン・コレクター必携の一枚に仕上がっています。自然でクリアーな感触をもったサウンドは非常に素晴らしく、誰もが、この音が1977年ＭＳＧ最終日とは信じられないと感ずるのではないでしょうか。演奏も十分に良好で、珍しいところでは、この日はNo Quarterでジョン・ポールがピアノソロの途中で「さくらさくら」を弾いています。最長・最高音質で聴けるＭＳＧ１９７７最終日の決定版が2枚組プレスCDでリリース決定です。
