There were many titles for Japan tour in 1995 and we used to buy them easily. But now after almost 20 years passed they are difficult to get them now. And “VOODOO LOUNGE” IN JAPAN is a best seller item recently. But it is standard movie, we want more other titles for Japan tour in 1995. So now whole concerts are released, their recordings are never released before and never be got by trader or internet. 

This title is from 2 concerts in Tokyo Dome, used the DAT master from the taper is same as WERCHTER 1998 that fanatic mania are popular. First one is March 9, it has bit clipping noise from the master, but stable recording without deep echo of typical Tokyo Dome recording. 

We feel chill that Mick is discord with his singing from the opening Not Fade Away, And moreover he transposes the next Tumbling Dice melody down clearly. He refrain his vocals of All Down The Line and Rocks Off. No wonder they did sessions in the studio for STRIPPED for 3 days until before this concert, they have just one day off on tight schedule. But they have 2 day off for the film of March 12. 

And there are a strange intro on Satisfaction because of Keith’s guitar delay. But about acoustic part, it is best attractive performance in Japan tour. No Expectations and Let It Breed used to be rare combination for the set then. It means the fruits of their effort in Tokyo recording. Especially No Expectations is very fine performance. After the 2 songs, Mich become much better than before and his good performances. Mick gropes for his best singing on Love Is Strong. So they do trial and error for the films of March 12. 

Another concert, this is last day in Tokyo Dome concerts March 17. This recording is very good with moderate echo and just stereo sounds comparing with good sound titles on this show. but it has degradation noise on 1:50 It’s All Over Now. Mick decides no acoustic set after March 12 because of his going slowly. So many fun think first part of the tour are better than last part.Beast Of Burden was played for 3 days of last part of the tour, it is never played in Japan, but it is unsatisfied selection. 

But finally Memory Motal is played as best topic since 1994 tour starts. And Japanese does not understand what Mick said Japanese word that means thatit hard to say goodbye. And Memory Motale is just played, you can feel that audience have been really surprised  If you go to this concert then, this title is best for your memory. Mick is really hyper in the last part of the concert. Final concert of Tokyo Dome titles are difficult to get even memorial concert, but now you can get the upgrade edition. Press CD titles. 

1995年 の来日公演は当時多数のアイテムを生み出しており、それが容易に入手できたものでした。ところが二十年近い歳月が経った現在、それらのアイテムを見つける ことは非常に難しくなってしまいました。つい最近のツアーだと思っていてもそれだけの年月が経っていたのですね。そんな中で当店がリリースした「”VOODOO LOUNGE” IN JAPAN」はおかげさまで大好評となっていますが「定番映像なのだからリリースされて当たり前、もっと他の公演を聴きたい」という声が起きたのも当然かと思われます。そこで今回は近年アイテムが皆無だった95年の来日公演の音源を一気にリリースいたします。もちろん当店がリリースするタイトルですので、使用するオーディエンス録音はネット上やトレーダー間に一切出回っていない音源を使用しています。 

　まずこちらのリリースは東京ドームのライブから二日分をカップリングしました。録音者は、こちらもコアなファンには好評の「WERCHTER 1998」と同一テーパーによるもので、オリジナルDATマスターを使用しています。まず最初に収録されているのは3月9日の公演。ディスク１にDATマスターに起因する問題として音のエッジが微妙に割れる個所もありますが、既発盤と比べて東京ドームのディープなエコーに埋もれることなくしっかりと演奏を捉えた素晴らしい録音を実現しました。 

この日はライブの幕を開ける「Not Fade Away」でミックがいきなり音を外しているからヒヤっとさせられます。これだけならばモニターのトラブルか何かだと聴き過ごせるような場面でしたが、次の「Tumbling Dice」では明らかにメロディを下げてミックが歌っている様子が克明に捉えられています。さらに「All Down The Line」と「Rocks Off」もミックの歌はかなり抑え気味。それもそのはず、この時の来日はまず公演が始まる前に「STRIPPED」用のスタジオ・セッションを三日連続で行っていて、実はこの日まで一日のオフだけで歌い続けるようなスケジュールだったのです。その点、映像収録があるライブ（12日）の前に二日のオフを挟んでいたのは賢明でした。

 また「Satisfaction」 ではキースがイントロを弾き始めた瞬間に出音が遅れて奇妙な始まりとなってしまう場面も捉えられています。この時の日本公演はこの日まである種の試験期間 だったのかもしれません。しかしアコースティック・パートにおける二曲はこの日がもっとも魅力的だったのではないでしょうか。「No Expectations」と「Let It Breed」 という組み合わせは当時非常レアなものでしたし、東京レコーディングの成果をそのままステージで表してみせた場面だったとも言えるでしょう。特に前者の演 奏はそれぞれの控え目な演奏ぶりが絶品。これら二曲でミックが復調したのでしょうか、以降は前半のふらつきが嘘のような熱演が繰り広げられます。そんな中 でも「Love Is Strong」ではミックが歌い方を模索しており、やはり映像収録を控えての試行錯誤ぶりがいい意味で伺えた一日だったのではないでしょうか。

　もう一つは3月17日の東京ドーム最終日を収録。こちらは程よいエコー感に包まれつつもオンな音像でクリアーという理想的な録音状態が魅力です。元々高音質な音源がリリースされていた過去のアイテムとくらべてもまったく引けを取りません。（It’s All Over Nowの1:50前後でDATテープの劣化ノイズが入るのが残念ですが。）撮影が行われた12日を最後としてミック言うところの「スローで行こう」アコーステック・コーナーが一旦姿を消します。この変化によって「ツアー前半の方が魅力的な選曲だった」と感じた方も少なかったはず。中でも「Beast Of Burden」は東京後半に三日連続で演奏されており、日本では初登場ながらもあれだけ変化に飛んでいた前半から比べると物足りなさを感じたのも事実でしょう。 

　しかしこの日に関して言えば1994年のツアー開始時から話題となっていた「Memory Motel」 が遂に演奏されるという非常に魅力的なトピックで沸いた日。ミックも東京ラストのスペシャル・チューンとして演奏するつもりだったのでしょうが、演奏前の 「オワカレガ、ツリー（辛い）デス」というコメントが当日は読解不可能だったのが何とも懐かしいものです。そして演奏が始まった瞬間に東京ドーム内に広が る歓喜の臨場感を実にリアルに捉えているのが鳥肌モノ。当日見られた方ならあの夜を思い出す最高のメモリーとなることでしょう。それに最終日ということで ライブ全体からみなぎる気合も実に素晴らしい。後半に進むほどに飛ばしまくるミックのテンションの高さは本当に壮絶です！そして先のような感動的な場面の あった東京最終日というエポック・メイキングなライブながら、最近はアイテムが入手し辛いという状況に陥っていました。こうして久々にアップグレード音源 がリリースされることは正にファン待望と言えるでしょう！もちろんプレスCDによる限定リリース、今回もお見逃しなく。
