無事大好評のうちに終了した、ストーンズの来日公演。やはりストーンズはライブに限る！と多くの方がそう言った感想をお持ちになったことでしょう。そんな皆さんにはとっておきのギフトアイテムの登場です。今回特別にご紹介するのは1966年に米国で発売された彼ら初のライブアルバムである『ガット・ライブ・イフ・ユウ・ウォント・イット』のUSオリジナル・モノ盤です。英国では同タイトルのEP盤が発売され以前にギフトアイテムとして登場したのはご記憶に新しいのではないでしょうか。またこの英国盤EPと本作品はまったく同名異作なことはストーンズファンなら当然ご存知でしょう。ところがどっこいこの作品にはまだまだ違いがあるのです。モノ盤とステレオ盤ではミックスも違えばさらに音質・音像までもがまったく異なるのです。もちろん現行CDともまったく異なる別ミックスなのです。そして今回ご紹介するUSオリジナルモノ盤はアナログファンにはたまらないベースの低音がブンブン響くUS盤らしい音とミックのヴォーカル、そして黄色い声援しか聞こえてこないとご説明するのがいちばん解りやすい表現になると思います。ステレオ盤とはまったく別の作品に聞こえると言っても差し支えないレベルの作品がこのモノ盤です。さてステレオ盤とそれ程の違いとは・・・もちろんそれは、ツゥー・ビー・コンティニュードです！今回ももちろん最上級レベルのデイスクかつ11-1-66と手書きマトか刻まれたオリジナル盤を使用していますので、ご安心してご鑑賞ください。
