1. Indian Girl
「EMOTIONAL RESUCUE」からはアルバムを仕上げる際のミックスを試行錯誤していた段階の音源が流出していて、それが名盤「STATIC IN THE ATTIC」に収録されていましたが、ここで聴かれるのはそれとも違う編集によるショート・バージョン。ミックもキースも演奏を刈り込むのが好きなのですね…。まだミックス自体も完成とまではゆかず、ホーンの音もアルバム・バージョンより目立ちます。

2. Emotional Rescue
「STATIC IN THE ATTIC」には完成直前で編集が違うバージョンが収録されていましが、これはそれとまったく違うミックス。キースのギターが広がりつつも目立つミックス（ロニーがベースを弾いています）というのが実に面白い。それどころかミックの裏声パートも違い、とどめはミックとキースが一緒に歌うというボーカル・アレンジまで登場して興奮してしまいます。あまりにアルバム・バージョンと違った雰囲気なので、思わず別テイクかと錯覚しそうになるほど。

3. No Use In Crying

これに似た雰囲気でボーカルがなく、キースのギターやロニーのアコースティック・ギターが目立つ初期バージョンは過去に聴かれましたが、ここではミックのボーカルがすでに数種類ダビングされつつも、それでいて演奏はベーシックな段階という変わり種。しかもイントロからバンドが演奏している風に感じられるものでした。これもすごく面白い初期バージョンです。

8. We Had It All
これもキースよる絶品アウトテイクとして昔から有名ですが「EMOTIONAL RESUCUE SESSIONS」で聴けたバージョンよりもベーシックな段階なもの。演奏がよりシンプルでいながら音質も格段に向上しているので、思わず聞き惚れてしまいます。

9. She Was Hot
これまた完成度が高い別ミックスですが、それでもまだボーカル処理などはラフで、左チャンネルのイアン・スチュアートによるピアノが目立つロング・バージョン。

10. Keep It Cool
前回の「Vol.1」で存在がほのめかされていた未発表曲の20分に及ぶ別テイク。これだけ「FOXES IN BOXES」の登場を受けて単独で登場した音源をJEMSがリマスターとピッチ修正したものなので、ボーナストラック扱いとなっています。ミックはここでもはりきってバンドを引っぱっている模様ですが、いかんせん起伏のない曲調であり、結局進展しなかったのもやむなしといったところでしょう。しかし音質が抜群なのでそれなりに聴き応えがあります。

前回の二つのパートで「EMOTIONAL RESUCUE」からの音源が少なかったことに不満を覚えた方などにとって、今回のリリースこそ待ってました！と歓喜されるリリースではないでしょうか。特にタイトル曲の初登場の別ミックスなどは凄いです。このように前回と違いセッション別テイクよりもアルバム収録バージョンのミックスの違いが多いのですが、何しろパーフェクトな音質な上に、どれも違いが解りやすい！今回も絶対に楽しめること間違いのウルトラ・レア音源の数々。世界中のマニアが今回も驚愕するであろう初登場バージョンの嵐。もちろん今回も限定のプレスCDリリースです、絶対にお見逃しなく！
