今回は武道館のT&JバージョンでCD五枚にも及ぶ究極のドキュメントがリリースされる訳ですが、ポールが登場する前のサウンドチェック、さらには開演前の様子までも捉えた音源が貴重である半面、単純にあの日のライブの感動を味わいたい人にとって「敷居が高い」セットに映らなくもありません。それ以上に来日公演の終了後、当店では武道館音源をギフト・アイテムとしてリリースし続けていました。それもまたおかげさまで大人気を博しましたが、一方で「いつになったら独自音源のプレスCDタイトルをリリースしてくれるの？」という声が多数寄せられています。
もちろん当店としても黙っていた訳ではなく、あくまでプレスCDでリリースするに相応しい音源が見つかるまでじっくり吟味していたということがありました。まだライブ終了から一か月も経過していないはずなのに、既にプレス、CD-R問わず無数のアイテムがリリースされているという事実が武道館ライブ別格の人気ぶりは本当に凄まじいですよね。
しかしギフトとして皆様に聴いていただきたい独自の音源は集まったものの、そんな中でプレスCDとして自信を持ってリリース出来るレベルのクオリティの音源、特にオンな音像やクリアネスは当店がこだわる最大のポイント。そんな中で遂に現れた音源は今回の東京ドーム二日目と同じテーパーによるオーディエンス録音だったのです。

それだけに今回の音源の音質は実に素晴らしい！まず何と言ってもオンな音像が見事なのです。各方面で報じられたように、武道館はVIPパッケージが売られず、チケットはすべて抽選という事態になりました。そのせいでせっかく良い機材を持ち込んだとしても、会場で渡されたチケットを前に轟沈…そんな苦汁をなめさせられたテーパーは少なくなかったはず。しかし今回の音源、録音ポジションからしてアリーナ前方を確保できたという幸運。これだけでも今回の音源が既に及第点を超えていたことが理解してもらえることでしょう。
ただし、アリーナ前方から録音できただけのことはあり、あの日の盛り上がり臨場感も相当なもの。それは良いとしても、オープニングの「Can’t Buy Me Love」が始まった途端に悲鳴を上げる女性が近くに居ます。彼女はビートルズ・ナンバーを中心として演奏が始まった際に同様な盛り上がりを見せていました。それこそ往年のビートルズのコンサートにいるかのようです（笑）。だがしかし。「セカイハツコウカイ」な「Another Girl」では彼女だけでなく、会場の盛り上がり自体をリアルに捉えています。これこそあの熱狂の武道館！むしろ彼女のスクリームも武道館の熱狂そのものではないでしょうか。

それに何といってもオンな音像が素晴らしいので、そんな盛り上がりを超えた演奏の迫力が絶品なのです。同じくこの日のサプライズとなった「Dance Tonight」イントロでドスンと来るエイブのキックの気持ちがいいこと！そんな低音の迫力を保ちつつも、自然でウォーミーな音質は間違いなく武道館プレス・タイトルにおけるベストの一つに数えられることでしょう。当店からは変則的にサウンドチェックの音源が先となってしまいましたが、遂に当店独自音源による武道館タイトルが限定のプレスCDにてリリースされます、お待たせいたしました！
