大成功に終わった2015年ポールマッカートニーの来日公演。その全公演が映像でもピカデリー・レーベルよりリリースになります。

2013年の充実した来日公演の記憶も新しい頃、早くも2014年の来日公演が発表になりました。しかも会場は屋外の国立競技場及びヤンマースタジアムという、初めての試み。前年の興奮冷めやらぬ中、なんとポール自身来日しながら病気の為すべての日程がキャンセルになるという不幸に見舞われました。2015年になり改めて大阪京セラドーム1公演に東京ドーム3公演、さらに49年ぶりの武道館公演と、前年の計画を会場を変更しそのままスライドしたような日程が発表になりました。本作は、東京ドーム公演三日目を完全収録しています。ショットの具合は裏ジャケットのキャプチャー写真を参考にしてください。

「Hey Jude」ではモニターの不調からハウリングが生じ、曲中にも関わらずポール激怒。歌いながら「オイ、コレだよ！コレ！交換しろ！」と何度も足元のモニターを指差し、スタッフに指示を出しています。曲の最後では客席を指差し「You’re Great! You’re Great!」を繰り返す中で、足元のモニターを指差し「Not Great!」と挿入するというハプニングシーンが見られます。
