１曲ごとにあらゆる想い出が吹き出してくるMOTLEY CRUEの“Final Tour”。その想い出を極上サウンドでパックしたプレス２CD「THE FINAL TOUR IN SUPER ARENA」は、最高のメモリアル・アルバムですが、惜しむらくは音声だけのCDであること。目玉のドラムソロにしても、やはり目で見ないことには、意味も半減してしまいます。そこで登場するのが本作。最高の想い出を鮮明に蘇らせてくれるオーディエンス映像！　音声には、プレスCDと同じ極上サウンドを被せました。

本作は「THE FINAL TOUR IN SUPER ARENA」と同じさいたまスーパーアリーナ公演２日目のハイライト・シーンを約１時間に渡って集めた映像集。まず登場するのは、通訳を交えたニッキー・シックスのMCです。真っ暗な画面に「あれ？」と思われるかも知れませんが、これは、撮影者がカメラを隠していたから。「電話を出しちゃってください！」のMCと共に会場の景色を映し出します。そこに広がるのは、一斉に掲げたスマホの群れ。これがまた、なんとも壮観な光景です。その後は、メンバーのアップ（鮮明！）も存分に交えながら、「Anarchy In The U.K.」「Dr. Feelgood」へと突入。「律」の文字が掲げられたドラムセット、ライトの群れが発する光の洪水、妖艶な女性ダンサー（ダンスがキレッキレ！）、せり上がるコーラスマイクなどなど、ど派手なライヴの様子がばっちり見られます。
続くは、超目玉のローラーコースター・ドラムソロ！　本作ではアングルの違う２種の映像でたっぷりとお見せします。最初のアングルは、移動するトミー・リーを画面中央に捉えきったアングル。アップも多用され、360度回転しながら、コースターを移動する様子が完璧に収められています。ひっくり返った際に降り注ぐ紙吹雪（？）も綺麗にシュート。それにしても、遠近の距離が変わりながら移動するドラムキットを画面中央から外さず、これほど滑らかに捉えるとは……。
別アングルは、ほぼ真横からの遠景。こちらはソロタイムを鮮やかに彩ったライト・デザインの妙味がばっちりです。さらに遠景で収めることで、コースターの巨大感が凄い。広い広い客席上空を突っ切りながら、大観衆を沸かせまくるドラムキット。MOTLEY CRUEが去ると決めた今、こんな光景はもう二度とお目にかかれないでしょう。
さらに「Girls, Girls, Girls」「Kickstart My Heart」の美味しい２曲を挟み、最後の目玉となるアンコールの「Home Sweet Home」へ。ここも２アングルでご覧いただけます。コースター終点の小さな特設ステージに移動した４人は、別れを惜しむようにハンドライトで観客１人ひとりの顔を照らしながら手を振る。感慨が胸に押し寄せるムードのなか、切々としたピアノに乗せてヴィンス・ニールが歌い出します。そして、曲がピアノからバンドへ移ると、ファンに４人の姿が見えるよう、ステージがせり上がる。会場の隅々にまで挨拶するように手を振り、音を届ける４人。ステージは元の高さまで下がっていき、最後はピアノとヴォーカルだけに戻ってフィニッシュ。万感の思いを込めたペンライトの海が揺らめくなか、ショウは幕を閉じます。

最後には、さらにボーナス映像。同じさいたまスーパーアリーナの前日「２月14日」から、ドラムソロと「Home Sweet Home」を収録しました。この日のドラムソロは、機械トラブルでドラムキットがコースターを登り切れず、途中で終了。ちょっと苦笑いなアクシデント・シーンが楽しめます。

「Home Sweet Home」でステージがせり上がる時間は、わずか２分半ほど。たったそれだけのために、大がかりな仕掛けを用意してきたMOTLEY CRUE。そこには「みんなに顔を見せ、みんなの顔を見て挨拶したい」という気持ちが透けていました。そう、彼らが多額の費用を注ぎ込んで大仕掛けを用意するのは、単なる話題作りや「驚かせてやろう」だけでなく、「喜んでほしい」が込められている。だからこそ、彼らは30年以上に渡ってファン愛され続けたのです。ひとつの演出としても感動的ですが、それが他の誰でもないMOTLEY CRUEだからこそ、一層胸に染みるラストシーン。想い出のすべてがフラッシュ・バックするメモリアル映像、ぜひご覧ください。
