Contains about 38 minutes of 1971 BBC live broadcast in Japan in the mid-1980s. 1980年代中期に日本で放送された1971年BBCライヴを約38分収録。80年代のラジオ放送テイクを、驚きの高品質クオリティでエアチェックし、保存していたマニアのテープをダイレクトに収録。今回、比較対照用に、イギリスのBBC放送原盤よりダイレクト収録した「POP SPECTACULAR IN CONCERT Restored Edition」も付属していますが、これとは音のキャラクターが全く違います。厳密に検証すると、微細にスクラッチノイズが聞こえる箇所があるので、これもまた放送用レコードを使用してのラジオ放送なわけですが、Communication BreakdownはBBC原盤同様に左にドラム、右にギターとはっきりとセパレートしながらも他のトラックはセンターよりのミックスになっています。録音者が日本人DJの喋りを嫌い、意図的にカットしているのですが、構成的にはImmigrant Song～Communication Breakdownの4曲を連続演奏、そこで未収のDJトークが入り、後半、Stairway To Heaven、Whole Lotta Loveといった流れになっているようです。放送枠の関係か、楽曲は全て演奏のド頭からのスタートになってますが、Whole Lotta Loveはちょうど10分のエディットテイクになっており、付属のPOP SPECTACULARのテイクと比較すると、Rock ‘n’ Roll Medleyより、5:47 – 7:28、9:11 – 10:25、10:36 – 11:57と4分以上カットしているのが判ります。（曲名としてはBoogie Chillun’ – Boogie Mama後半のギターソロ、That’s Alright Mama、For What It’s Worthのパートです。さらっと聴いた感じでは分からないように上手くカットしています。）Whole Lotta Loveの9秒目～20秒目まで、プラントの叩くマイクノイズはオンで(これはPOP SPECTACULARでは一部しか聞こえない)、イントロリフにはBBC原盤では編集により被さっていた歓声はオフになっています。しかし、音質は大変優れており、オフィシャルのような現代的イコライズでは全然ないのですが、音色は明るくブライトで、BBC原盤の埃っぽいクラシカルさとは全く違う印象のサウンドです。過去より、80年代以降のウェストウッドワンに代表されるように、構成、ミックスを変え、放送され続けたBBC71の80年代中期（おそらく1984年）の日本放送ヴァージョン。当店のプレゼント企画などでお馴染みの、当時の放送テイクの高度なレベルで収集していたマニアの放出品ゆえ、お馴染みの内容ながら、ファンは間違いなく楽しめる事と思います。
