録音者は、プレスタイトル「200th Concert In Japan」、「Budokan 2014: 2nd & 3rd Nights」のマスターを録音したのと同じテーパーによるもの。
今回の録音ポジションもアリーナ席の絶好のポジションだったとのことです。

プレス盤「Budokan 2014: 2nd & 3rd Nights」の20日の音質に匹敵するこの音質は、同じく現代のオーディエンス録音の最高峰と言っていいでしょう。
本盤もリリース済みの「200th Concert In Japan」、同時リリースの「Budokan 2014: 2nd & 3rd Nights」と同様、
決してお客様を裏切ることはありません。
本盤のリリースによって、既にこの日の決定盤となったと断言してもよいくらいです。
このクリアかつステレオの拡がり感もあり、バランスが絶妙なサウンドを聴いていただければ、ご納得いただけるでしょう。
音が非常に澄んでいて、楽器の一つ一つが粒だって聞こえます。

この日のトピックは、After Midnightに替えて、本ツアーで初めてI Shot The Sheriffが演奏されたことです。
ここまでの3公演、After Midnightも選曲としては悪くはなかったのですが、I Shot The Sheriff独特の快活さ、ノリの良さが見事に発揮され、場内を盛り上げる効果を上げました。
ジャム風のイントロで始まるという初めてのアレンジだった上に、イントロからクラプトンがソロを弾きまくり、後奏のロングソロでは、１ヶ所ミストーンはあったものの後半は盛り返し、スローハンド奏法での速弾きを炸裂させました。 ファンはこのプレイを待っておられたのではないでしょうか。

その他のナンバーはセットに変更はありませんでしたが、I Shot The Sheriffのウケの良さを感じてからのクラプトンのプレイには一際力がこもっているように思えます。
アコースティックセットでのマーティン・サウンドは絶品で、本盤の音質によってその響きの美しさが際立っています。

また、ポール・キャラックをフィーチャーした3曲では、クラプトンはボーカルをとる負担のない分、伸び伸びとした様子で、非常にフレキシブルで流麗なオブリガートとソロを披露しています。
他人の曲を見事に彩るという、こうした部分の彼の非凡さも再認識されるべきものでしょう。

ツアーも半ばを迎え、バンドメンバーのプレイもより力の入ったものとなってきています。
ポール・キャラックのプレイは、オルガンも抜群ですが、何よりもボーカルの上手さが光ります。
そしてクリス・スティントンのピアノもCocaineでの「決め」はもちろんのこと、各ナンバーでも昔と変わらぬセンスを感じさせてくれます。
90年代と同じく、ネイザン・イーストも再びCocaineの出だしを任されるな ど、クラプトンとメンバーの信頼関係の強固さもここに証明されています。
