1986年10月31日、カリフォルニア州コスタ・メサ公演を衝撃の超高音質オーディエンス録音で収録。過去に中途半端な内容の一枚ものタイトルがリリースされていましたが、本盤は完全なマスター・クオリティで収録されており、音質の向上もさることながら、収録曲数も大幅に増えた、まさに決定版です。（既発未収のScore, Learning To Fly, Still…You Turn Me On/Watching Over You, Dream Runner, From The Beginning, Karn Evil 9/America/Rondoを全て収録）テープチェンジの欠損と思われるTarkusのカットが非常に残念ですが、全体的には、大変クリアーで安定したサウンドで収録されています（Dream Runnerの後半、From The Beginningのエンド、Lucky Man の頭などでカットありますが、とにかくサウンドが安定しており高品質なので、殆どストレスなくショウ全体を聴き入ることができます。）。The Score、Piratesなどスケールの大きなロックチューンを中心として、コージーのパワフルなドラミングはELPの音世界に見事にマッチしており、彼のドラムプレイからどの曲でも抜群の高揚感を感じ取ることが出来ます。Fanfare For The Common Man後半のツーバス連打も凄い迫力です。グレッグも説得力溢れる素晴らしいボーカルを聞かせてくれ、同様にキースも全盛期並みの豊かな表現力をもったキーボードさばきで聴衆を魅了します。とにかく録音が素晴らしく、Touch And Goのイントロのシンセの立ちっぷりの見事さ、そして生々しいコージーのドラムサウンドの素晴らしさは特筆に価するパートです。この時期のみのシンセドラムを駆使したコージーのドラムソロも迫力満点。ラストのメドレーも大変クリアーに収録されており聴き応えあります。優秀な録音の多い86年ツアー音源の中でも最上位に位置する大推薦の一枚です。

1986年に行われた北米ツアーからCosta Mesa公演を収録。本盤はオーディエンスによって収録された、非常に高音質のマスターテープをダイレクトにデジタル化したもの。ただし、録音者自身のテレコ操作により、「Tarkus」がテープチェンジのために途中でカットがあり、また他の曲でも一部でカットが確認出来る。しかしながら、音質に恵まれたEL&Powellの中でも、ベストの部類に属する音源であるため、そうしたカットを差し引いても魅力的な音源であることにかわりはない。
PalmerがASIAに参加していたことで、代役としてPowellが参加したわけだが、Palmerになかったリズムの正確さと音量、特にバスドラの圧倒的な音量によって、ELPの往年のヒット曲が活性化したことは誰もが認めるところであろう。特に「Tarkus」の「Eruption」におけるツーバスの連打は、予想以上のパフォーマンスになっている。これにGX-1を中心としたエマーソンと太いながらも伸びやかなボーカルのLakeが加わることで、少なくとも最後のツアーとなった1978年の水準を遥かに超えていると断言できる。EL&Powellがたった１枚のアルバムと一度のツアーで空中分解したことが何とも悔やまれる。
