このように、1991年のジャパンツアーは全４公演のうち、３公演が日本武道館。本作は、唯一武道館以外のライヴとなった「1991年６月26日・大阪城ホール」公演で収められたキニー録音なのです。この録音は、CD黎明期に「SLAVES AND MASTERS TOUR 1991（9-106261/62）」としてリリースされたことのある音源。もちろん、本作はそのコピーなどではなく、その大元となったDATマスターからダイレクトにCD化。その上で、最新のマスタリングでトリートメントしました。既発では初期CD時代の平坦な感触があったものの、本作はオリジナルDATが現場で吸い込んできた立体感も鮮やかで、マスターダイレクトだからこその鮮度も瑞々しく蘇っているのです。当時は地名・会場名を削除するのが一般的でしたが、本作はオリジナルDATを１音漏らさず復刻。「Black Night」でジョーが「大阪ーっ！」と叫ぶシーンもノーカット収録しています。
さらに、オリジナル録音では２カ所ほど録音漏れもあったのですが、そのパートも同日別録音の「BLAZE AND FIRE」で補填し、史上初のライヴ完全版を実現しました。その欠落パートは「Perfect Strangers」６分台の15秒間と「Knocking At Your Back Door」８分台の32秒間。どちらも曲を終え、歓声とMCのシーンなのですが、高音質な「BLAZE AND FIRE」のサウンドと自然な処理によって、つなぎ目はまったく気にならない。と言いますか、「ここだよ」と言われてもよく分からないほど自然にショウが淀みなく流れていく仕上がりになっているのです。
