しかも、楽音の美しさと同時に絶頂の人気ぶりがパックされているからこそ、本作は凄い。先ほど「野外会場とは思えない」と書きましたが、それはあくまでクオリティの話。端正に美しいサウンドでありながら、それが広い空間に反響せず、大空に吸い込まれていく感覚。「どこまでも届け！」と果てしない遠方まで歌いかける開放感は、間違いなく野外ならでは。そして、さざ波から大波まで多彩に押し寄せては引いていく大歓声の立体感もまた、野外なればこそ。そのスケール感は、幾多のボウイ録音でも本作だけのものなのです。こう書くと「爆音歓声の中から楽音を探すタイプかな？」と心配されてしまうかも知れませんね。冒頭でも「割れんばかり」と書きましたし。しかし、そのご心配はいりません。冒頭の登場シーンこそ「割れんばかり」ですが、そこで気が済んだのか（笑）、その後はボウイ・ミュージックをたっぷりと楽しめ、演奏中は、テーパー近くに会話さえない。１曲１曲を終える度に大歓声のスペクタクルが沸き立つタイプの録音なのです。
