同時期のライヴ音源には、昨年のリリース直後からファンの間で大好評を博した「SOFT WHITE ERECTUS」（Uxbridge）が存在します。そちらは放送用マスターダイレクト使用のスーパー・サウンドが絶品だったので、FM放送のエアチェック素材を元にしている本作がサウンド面で一歩譲るのは事実ですが、それもオフィシャル級のサウンドを持つ前者と比較した場合の話。音の広がりやレンジこそやや狭い印象はありますが、ギターを中心にヴォーカルそしてキーボードがきちんとまとまったミックスは充分以上の聴き応えがあります。本作はもちろんオリジナル・マスターに入念なリマスターを施したアッパー・バージョンで、サウンドの聴き易さはトレーダー間で知られるマテリアルとは一線を画しています。華やかさとキャッチーさで明るくショウをスタートさせる「Dr Music」に、複数のギターがぶ厚くヘヴィなサウンドを奏でる「E.T.I.」など、普通に考えれば同時代の水準を楽に上回るステレオ・ライン録音で、唯一無二のB.O.C.ワールドをショウの序盤から安定した音像で楽しめます。
本音源の聴き所は何をおいても「CULTOSAURUS ERECTUS」からのナンバーです。小気味よくスピーディな「Lips In The Hills」、アラン・レーニアのピアノが重厚な曲世界を盛り上げる「Unknown Tongue」や「The Marshall Plan」など、ライヴ中6曲もセレクトされた事実にバンドの自信がうかがえます。さらに現時点では本音源でしか聴けない「Hungry Boys」は超レア！　軽やかな節回しが印象的なB.O.C.流ロックンロールに、ファンは思わず耳を奪われる事でしょう。ライヴ後半も「Black Blade」が貫禄たっぷりに演奏され、すでに「Godzilla」や「Hot Rails To Hell」に負けない定番曲のオーラで聴き手をノックアウトしてくれます。ジョー・ブーチャードのベースソロから流れ込む「5 Guitars」より「Born To Be Wild」に突入するライヴ終盤の熱気は、これこそB.O.C.の真骨頂です！
この日はSABBATHがメインに位置するレギュラー・ライヴですが、ダブル・ヘッドライナーツアーの「看板」を偽らない名演は文句なしの楽しさで、上り調子にあったバンドの底力をまざまざと感じるでしょう（なお、この日のショウを最後に、BLACK SABBATHからオリジナル・メンバーの一人であるビル・ワードが脱退しています。B.O.C.には直接関係ないものの、マニアは記憶に留めておきたいポイントかも知れません）。

前述した「SOFT WHITE ERECTUS」は、”SOFT WHITE UNDERBERRY”名義でブッキングされたスペシャルなB.O.C.ライヴを最高級の音質で捉えていましたが、本作はそちらでも聴けなかったレア曲を含むセットを上質なライン音源で余さずパッケージしており、バンドのキャリアに精通したマニアをもニヤリとさせるでしょう！　本作は大定番音源の次に聴くセカンド・チョイスとして重要な位置づけを得るに違いありません。B.O.C.の1980年「CULTOSAURUS ERECTUS」ツアーを知る上で絶対に欠かせない2枚組・96分間です！
